I'm trying to make a stir-fry. Apparently you don't fry noodles. I thought you would just fry everything hence it being a 'stir fry'

First noodles went in the bin, they just stay hard when you try to fry them. I've put the next ones in boiling water. Pictures to follow.

You can buy Straight to Wok noodles that you can just fry with the rest of it, I also think they are better tasting.

That first line. Why do eggs come into a stir fry? That sounds rank.

Any tips on protecting my eyes when I cut onion?

I always cut them under running water, I was told that something about the water reacting with the onion vapour means it doesn't reach your eyes. Probably some old wives tale but doesn't **** my eyes up so seems to work.

<laugh> No. That would probably taste rather weird <laugh>
Really fancied baked beans tonight but couldnt find any Heinz here and the local Indonesian version is ****. So bought a can of Cooked Pinto Beans in a tomato and Jalapeno Sauce. Superb on toast - presumably what the Mexicans eat when they fancy a TV dinner.

Course you can fry noodles - Mie Goreng is very popular dish here. Would guess you would have to boil them a bit first though - will ask the maid and post a recipe for you.

He probably had the dried version of noodles. Not sure they’d respond well to being lobbed in a frying pan.

Yeah these were hard and just stayed hard. I then put the next ones in some boiling water for a few minutes and then lobbed them in the frying pan.

@CBD saffy get straight to wok noodles you can fry that **** bro. Then get some pre-chopped onion, in a bag. Put everything in a wok, fry, put some sauce on, taste it, add seasoning... slide the entire contents of the wok into the nearest bin, walk to shop, get Doritos and dip and **** it.
