The same year Boris won Politician of the year, and Ed Milliband "won" Minister to watch for.....sums it up really.Parliamentary speech of the year.
And these are the same awards that dish out "Resignation of the year"....do me a favour LOL
This article sums it all up pretty nicely. https://cookingonabootstrap.com/2017/06/07/we-need-to-talk-about-diane-abbott-now-explicit-content/
Dianne is a truly exceptional woman.
Funny that this video of an award winning speech doesn't get shared alongside her unfortunate LBC interview.

It don't imply that at all, the headline is quoting one worker who is justifiably pissed off, try reading the direct quote from Honda that this closure was not anything to do with Brexit, why do you choose to ignore a direct quote? If anything this headline implies the government’s handling of Brexit is to blame for the plant closure.
Diane Abbot is THE most obnoxious rude self opinionated b****
My wife had the misfortune of having to meet her when she was touring around the immigration removal centre that she works at and all she did was talk in soundbites and completely ignored the staff who do a tremendously difficult job.
Abbot hasn't got a bloody clue apart from playing the race and sexism card to shut down a debate.

YesDo you honestly believe that these closures have nothing to do with Brexit?
Putting aside the semantics of Brexit and acknowledging the good debate on here, does anybody on here honestly have confidence and faith that this terrible, inept, vacillating government will successfully negotiate and enact beneficial trade deals that provide an improvement on our current deals? Because if they cannot do that, in today's globalised market and world, we'll be worse off.
The fact we've only managed to negotiate seven trade deals (with heavyweights like the Faroe Islands) over the past three years, and how Japan laughed us out of the negotiation room when we were making 'arrogant' demands, doesn't bode me with much confidence. And if you honestly believe that the likes of Boris, Rees-Mogg, and their cronies have the best interests of the working and middle class in question when in government and planning their post-Brexit utopia, well those people will be in for a serious disappointment based on their voting record and statements to the press.
The government clearly knows Brexit will make people worse off and the only ones who support it are those who will personally benefit from it financially or who are parroting the 'will of the people' rubbish in an attempt to justify shooting ourselves in the foot.
Just on the basis of comments here over the last couple of days Brexit is happening solely because of a dislike of immigrants.
I don't think it was that simple for most people, Hampy, including people on here. The 'sovereignty' thing seems to be the most quoted singular reason. Everyone's entitled to their opinions and the concern about the undercutting of wages by foreign workers, who in some industries will do the same job for less, is credible. However, it isn't the immigrants' fault that they work for a lower hourly rate - it should be made illegal for the company bosses to pay those wages in the first place and should be properly monitored.
Hampy you really are an arse, no-one on here who cites lack of immigration controls as ONE of the reasons we voted to leave, have ever said that they have a dislike of immigrants. This is the type of comment that gets under peoples skin, anyone who has a legitimate concern over border controls are, in your eyes, a racist and that is despicable. If you cant get your point of view over without resorting to insults then that says a lot more about you than anyone elseJust on the basis of comments here over the last couple of days Brexit is happening solely because of a dislike of immigrants.
The one about 'slave labour' is not really a credible argument because we have a minimum wage that the government sets. This should be set at the Living Wage Foundation's recommendation. But if it isn't, that's up to our government.
But companies continue to flout it, most notably in the labour and manufacturing industries.

British companies breaking the law has what exactly to do with Brexit? Leaving the EU is going to erode workers' rights, not improve them.
