We have already had 3 official votes on stay or leave ~ PUBLIC REFERENDUM 2016 Leave - 17.410.742 ( 51.9%) Remain - 16.141.241 (48.1) Total Electorate 46.500.001 Turnout 72.2% Rejected Ballets 25.359 MP Vote for ARTICLE 50 2017 Total for Activating MP's for 498 MP's against 114 PUBLIC GENERAL ELECTION 2017 Parties with leave in manifesto Conservative - 13.636.684. (42.4%) Labour - 12.877.918 ( 40.00%) Total - 26.514.602 (82.4%) Total seats in parliament - 581. 3 democratic votes all in favour of leave, what reason is there for another, remain LOST 3 times, enough is enough.
Apparently they are looking at indicative votes, listening to 6 MP's debate on Radio 5 they agreed on certain things but could not come to common agreement on anything add another 640 MP's into this and if on the off chance they do agree on something it has then to be agreed by another 27 voices who took the best part of 6 hours to come to an agreement on two dates. Technically we leave on Fridy but Hapless Theresa has written requesting extension until 12/4/2019 this should have gone through Parliament however Euro law trumps British law, who would have thought that. EU preparartion for No deal now complete and guess what they have decided no hard border in Ireland can be done electronically who would have thought that. The Remainers in Govt and Parliament are trying to stitch this up however time is fast running out, time May hadb some guts and said Enough is enough and we leave like we voted too. Voted leave voted no originally strangely when we were told we were joing a trading market no one ever said any thing about political union, been lied to for years on this one and some of them are still lying now.
Jeremy Corbyn was here. please log in to view this image Whilst the march took place in London. please log in to view this image We know what's important to him, his principles.
To be fair wiz, he isn't really a remainer. He doesn't want another vote, so why would he march? I think your criticism of him is usually fair but I don't think this one is. Cropped out the photos for space saving!
What's not fair, he was in Morcambe dancing and prancing around a statue, the march was in London with Tom Watson on stage, also Corbyn was the first one to take the piss out of May doing her rediculous ABBA jig, so what is unfair with me highlighting another twat with the same ambitions.
Because you're insinuating he should be in London at the march when he has literally no reason to be, considering he doesn't support it?
Sorry mate - although I agree with you on this particular statement ‘he doesn’t support it’, it’s because he is a Brexiteer!! He and Wiz and a number of others on here are ALLIES on this subject - which doesn’t fit well with any of them. It’s because (as I’ve said before many times) this issue transcends political party views. Corbyn is doing his job very well - he’s watching the Conservative party destroy itself over Brexit and he is protected because he is in opposition. He would **** himself if May threw the keys to number 10 at him and said ‘well YOU do it then’ - he’s quite happy to sit back and watch.
This is exactly what I mean. I don't get how we're disagreeing? I've said he's a Brexiteer on this very page!
This issue crosses party lines, Corbyn not going on the March probably shows he’s not for it, however he would allianate a number of his own MP’s if he went, so why would he do that, he can claim to be neutral, pragmatic. As rightly pointed out he’s sitting back watching the government tear themselves apart.

I’ve seen a number of these - like replaying the semi-final of the World Cup because we didn’t like losing to Croatia. Very funny - but possibly an indication of how siloed - or worried the Brexiteers appear to be on the question of a second referendum. For me, it’s not about overturning the first one (although that might happen if enough people change their vote), it’s more about clarifying what the people want, now that more facts are known and a deal is on the table. There are 2 possible Brexits; a deal or a no deal. Which one did the Brexiteers vote for? Neither of course - because they didn’t exist at the time of the vote. Also, some people may have changed their minds - what’s on the table wasn’t quite what they thought it would have been. There are other pro-referendum jokes going around too - like the BJ one involving a piranha. Mildly amusing in this time of serious constitutional mayhem and disorder.
Using your argument threre should be a second referendum to clarify the type of Brexit , (as we’ve already decided we want to leave), so the options should be, 1/ leave with whatever deal the MP’s and EU can agree on , or 2/ Leave without a deal.
I hear this quite a lot, but although Remain lost, it took 48% of the votes - almost half of the people who voted. Surely now a bit more is known it’s right that Remain should still be an option? It’s a massive decision and maybe, just maybe some people who voted to leave would like to change their minds(?). Whilst we are still in the EU it’s still possible. After we have left it will likely never to be possible to rejoin, so it’s worth reconsidering ALL options whilst they are all still possible. It’s too important not to IMHO.
I will tell you what frightens me , it really freighters me , whilst you may be right and we may be worse off if we come out, is the loss of democracy, once you go down the road of not accepting a democratic decision it’s a slippery slope , what next ?, don’t like a general election result , have another one. Once the genie is out of the bottle there’s no putting it back. We HAVE to honour the referendum result or else democracy in this country will never be the same again, and for me that’s a far greater price to pay .
