Well they'd care about a conviction affecting his market value.

Liverpool should pay attention to reports that Boca Juniors are ready to sell Cristian Pavon this summer.

Diario Xeneize make the claim, saying that Boca have just made the decision. They also say that Pavon has a release clause of just under £38m.

Liverpool news: Lazio close to securing deal for Alberto Moreno
Lazio have a good track record of reigniting the careers of former Liverpool players, with Luis Alberto and Lucas Leiva both flourishing in midfield roles since transferring to the Stadio Olimpico

I'm just pointing out he's been the scapegoat this season but others have pointed out zidane loves him.

I still think it would be safe to assume perez would dump him but if lads think zidane won't want that fine.. I don't mind :)

Well we've got a net profit of €100m sitting on the books, so I imagine most of that, minus Van Dijk's new contract

That was before the summer signings although any acquisition would not hit the balance sheet in one go - more likely be written off over 5 years.

What's people's thoughts on the Dybala rumours? And doyou think he'd be a good signing ignoring the cost?

Coutinho being touted about at £80m. That’s an entire Louis Suarez fee different to what they paid. Karma.

I know it’s all paper talk but still...... <laugh>

How Liverpool transfer policy might be affected by Brexit

It remains unclear how Brexit is going to affect the UK at large so trying to second guess just what kind of impact it might have on Liverpool FC remains speculative to say the least but there are certain factors that appear likely to come into place when the country finally does depart from the European Union – providing that it actually happens!

Unlike when the Premier League was formed back in 1992 and the majority of players were from the British Isles, a generation on England's top flight is one of the most cosmopolitan work places on the planet, attracting many among the cream of world football's talent.

The EU's freedom of movement rules ensure that players from within its other member states have no issues when it comes to signing for clubs like the Reds .

The five questions Liverpool must answer as Champions League and Premier League enters home straight

However, players from outside this area have to fulfil certain work permit criteria to obtain entry in what could be described as a quality control check.

Should the UK leave then players from inside the EU could also be liable to such obstacles and would no longer be able to be signed automatically.

What happened to all 40 of Gerard Houllier's signings for Liverpool

Given Liverpool's privileged position towards the top of the football food chain, such developments often might not prove significant issues for them.

Most of the members of the current squad from other EU states such as Virgil van Dijk ; Gini Wijnaldum and Dejan Lovren were all established internationals with many caps when they signed.

Boost for Liverpool fans as ticket prices are dropped

The likes of Divock Origi , Simon Mignolet and Alberto Moreno have also played for their country but had not appeared in many games when they first came to Anfield so in the future there would be question marks over such players.

They'd probably look to remove the "fine" that was previously agreed should they want one if or played again

thats only if they sell to us, why would we want a player back who wanted to get out the club so badly, in the same ****ing season we made the cl final as well.

fine still stands wherever he goes. you want our players, or try to unsettle them as spanish dirty clubs seem to do, you pay premium!!
