I'd love them to get promoted but can't see it happening.

Yeah said it earlier in the thread, would love to see them back in the top flight. It’s where they belong, they’ve got a good history and pedigree.

As you say though, can’t see it happening atm

My church between 85-92 until the sad day that they pulled it down.

Shame they got rid of Highbury.

I understand why but it was yet another step away from traditional British football into the soulless big business its become now.

Had a guided tour of the stadium, changing rooms and press area in 2004 as part of a 6th form "educational" trip!

Yep sad day when we left Highbury, although I can understand why the club did it.

I did two weeks work experience with Steve Braddock, the old head groundsman back in 90/91. Got to cut the grass, paint the white lines, clean out the dugouts (I collected some used chewing gum wrappers from Fergie when we played Utd) and I got to go on the pitch v Liverpool at HT and fork over the divots in the pitch in front of 52k !

Went to Arsenal Spurs NYD after West Ham Chelsea was postponed 86ish.

Chelsea fans in Clock End and North Bank. I was in the North Bank watching Chelsea fans fighting Spurs in Clock End. Surreal!
