Yeah and? It's a pic of a league1 ground, We don't count anymore, in fact fosse hinted at banning us all from the prem board. Cos they're massif.
I used to go to The Dell, loved it. Stood on the terraces at Craven Cottage, I think it’s where they now have the neutral area. Was an England U21 game. Sat on temporary seats in a temporary stand that we were expecting to collapse at Burnden Park. They threw bricks at us on the way out. Good times. Woking’s stadium is a ****hole apart from one stand which is beautiful but soulless.
Na na na na na na na Spackman..... hate him now he's been Scousified! We had close to 20k for our return to Div 1 in 84. Overfilled the 15,800 Clock End, had lots in seats and paddock, and some in North Bank too. My Goon mates said we brought more than Sours did in 81 and Villa for their title game in the same year. 1130 kick off, we got locked out of the Clock by 11ish and went in North Bank
Was just a bit before my time that. I started going in 85-86 season. The clock end was still uncovered in those days too. I used to stand on the north bank, but would sometimes go on the clock end for the Bantz. Remember getting filed down 2p coins hurled at me by Chelsea fans down there once.
