The old away end at Old Trafford. Think they used to call it the scoreboard paddock.

This was another good ground to go to in the 80's. Only went up there once for a cup game, but we won so it was worth the trip <laugh>

Anybody know where it is ?

Honestly didn't, was a bit of a guess though <laugh>

Was the first club in that colour blue that came to mind that I wouldn't know.

    <laugh> Good guess.

Portman Rd. I went there in 1986 and we won 1-2. Thinking back it might not have been a cup game after all, think it was an old Div 1 game.

I thought of Ipswich because of the Fisons advert on the scoreboard. I seem to remember a Fisons factory there in the mid-80's.

This is a lovely old ground. Goodison Park. Was there in 88 Littlewoods cup semi final to see the ginger legend Perry Groves bag a 0-1 win for us.

We’d usually be stood behind this goal.

Gillingham officials give the “pitch” at Priestfield the once-over before deciding to call off their FA Cup third-round tie against Port Vale for the tenth consecutive time, 1963

Safe to say your pitch is probably a bit on the damp side if your club mascot (Shrewsbury Town’s Lenny the Lion, in this case) can paddle across it, 2000
