"It's about complacency, it's about arrogance in a bad way. You can use the first half as an example of [positive] arrogance, playing with intention, focus, concentration - we matched them in everything and we were much better. And in the second half it's the arrogance in a bad way. We need to blame all of us, the club." (Poch speaking to MOTD after losing 1-2 to Saints) You can see that Poch was fuming. A few arses would have been kicked after that match, and I'm expecting a massive improvement for our next game. Kiss the badge, Poch - but only you. The others don't deserve it.
Hmm, remember you saying that after the Burnley, Chelsea, Arsenal games too. Think you should replace the Fat Argy tea bagger mate.
Hopefully as you’ve got Liverpool next. Although you’ve only got 1 point out of a possible 12 in your last 4 games so it’s worrying that Poch has only just noticed that his team is playing ****.
It's funny that he gives that kind of speech after the match when he was talking about going back to Spain before it. Ironic in fact, considering what he's saying to the players in that post-match interview.
It certainly looks that way for now. Let’s hope it remains that way, when Little Ollie gets found out, next season.
Poch has told Sky Sports that he’s happy at Spurs, citing his 5 year contract as proof. This will come as dreaded news to Pixie, who has staked his shirt on a wager that he and Kane will be off in the Summer.
These fools got it wrong for the last 3 seasons about Spurs selling their best players. The drive to unsettle Poch and get him to OT was embarrassing stuff for a ‘big’ club. Kane left for Madrid 2 years ago. Probability suggests they are bound to fall on a ‘called it’ moment sooner or later.
