There's a good comment on here, "its not the unknown that's the problem it's Brexit that's the problem". Our country is already fundamentally damaged by this whatever happens.
This is the reason we have a rising crime rate, people being offended by being called coloured, or ginger or fat maybe gay, bald or whatever, these so called “hate crimes” being investigated by thousands of policemen at great cost, while elsewhere young people are dying, not because we have a shortage of 20,000 policemen or women but maybe because we have 20,000 other police officers investigating wether someone has been “offended” or not. A good example of this is when hundreds nay thousands of people reported a “hate crime” when several absolute moronic nuggets burnt a mock up of grenfell tower on a bonfire and posted it on social media ( stupid, disgraceful horrid, yes but not an actual crime) whilst less than 3 miles away a young person was stabbed to death, a waste of a life, but here’s the thing that grates my cheese, the moronic nuggets had over 40 police officers investigating their ALLEGED crime at great cost while a squad of four officers investigating the murder have I believe so far made no headway and have arrested absolutely nobody whilst the moronic nuggets actually handed themselves in after a few days because they were outed and named on the same social media sites they posted on and I believe that nothing came of that and soon disappeared off the news pages with no charges filed I think (stand to corrected on that if I’m wrong) and I promise I won’t be offended if I’m called an idiot for getting my facts wrong. And in a nutshell this is the problem, we have non crimes being investigated whilst real crimes go unchecked because we now live in a society where it is more important to be politically correct and non offensive than it is to be stabbed to death. How long will it be before someone is offended because a stabbing victim bleeds on their coat of many snowflakes and the victim becomes the perpetrator, all in the name liberal harmony.

I haven’t looked at this but there might be a lot of coppers looking at internet crime. If they didn’t have them there would be equal outrage. Here’s an idea - people just be nicer.

We had a detective who wasn’t visibly injured, apart from his obesity, but was obviously looking forward to retirement, looking into the case of the bitten ear. He has emailed this week to ask my son to describe the events of early December last year when he was pissed and/or off his head on something and got jumped in the dark, for the fourth time. He’s given 3 signed statements taking several hours of repetitive questioning already. As if he’s going to remember anything different. This time it’s to see which bits of the clothing they have had for months they should test for possible DNA evidence. With the threat that if the lad doesn’t respond they will close the file. I’d like my son to get some justice, but I’m more concerned that some twat who thinks biting people’s ears off is acceptable is free to do it again. The police obviously aren’t. They have done **** all in 3 months apart from a passing glance at CCTV footage. The police are definitely and definitively under staffed, but when some of them are as idle and incompetent as Detective A...G.... (Name supplied on request) they will struggle to get my support. But at least I know what elected Police Commissioners are for now, receiving my pithy, concise and direct comments on the capability of their forces. Bring back Morse and Dixon of Dock Green. Why don't all the people that are getting so offended by people getting offended stop for a minute and ask themselves what these people are offended by and stop doing it?
Excellent that you can give feedback on your poor detective. Let's hope it's acted on. There are good coppers and then there are passengers in uniform. Continual appraisal always worthwhile by victims and their families
