I hope you don’t sign Keita, he’ll turn your team into an absolute beast.... oh... what? Has he? Ohhh right, yes, hmmmm well, ok then.
I don't mate...I think it's a cheaper option to educate Kane and tell him to stick to his own job on the pitch instead of stepping allover our attacking 3's feet all the time behind him. I've not known a number 9 to drop so deep so often. However I get a sense of Kane does as Kane wants. That brings me to Poch...but can't be arsed. Im convinced that the 90 mill Joe Lewis spent on a painting recently was better spent on a CM for the club...reckon he would get a lot more in return in the medium term...stupid ****.
I'm looking forward to watching him get into double figures next year and winning my avatar bet with you. I think I'll give you a Man Utd avatar just so that you can remember what it's like to have one.
Mate there’s absolutely nothing to suggest that lad will score 10 or assist 10 next season. At least with Pogba everybody could see he wasn’t a DM and he had talent. I don’t see Keita getting much more success next season than he’s had this season, he just looks piss poor. What even is he, Is he supposed to be a box to box midfielder or something? Imagine thinking he was even on the same planet as Paul Pogba.
I haven't made any big claims about him. I do think he'll improve though, to what level is yet to be seen. It's nice that we have managed to challenge for the league even though he has been poor overall and hasn't nailed down a starting place.
In 2017 we had a terrible CL campaign though. We've also had to contend with playing at Wembley since. I think we've progressed from being about the 20th best team in Europe to about the tenth since Poch took over. That still makes us about 10-1 to win each English trophy and 20-1 to win the Cl though so we will still end up trophy less more often than not.
Well you have had 20 chances to win a trophy under poch since hes arrived. You havent won any yet. Even wenger managed 2 and odds wise that arsenal had far less chances than spurs
I see it more in terms of probability. We are unlikely to be able to build a better squad than Man City or Man Utd in the long run and it is hard enough to stay on terms with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. So the best we can hope for is to have a say one in eight chance of being champions. If that's true we might win it once in the next 8 years. A lot depends on whether the extra income from the new stadium can actually be used to strengthen the squad. Signing two players for more than 50m each is a bit of a lottery. If we can get Salah and Pogba type quality then we will stay in with a chance. If we get Jorginho and Morata equivalents we will likely drop back out of the top four.
When all is said and done...we will be in the CL next season and one of you or your bezzies, the Goons, if not both will be in the Europa Again
We were well worse than 20-1 to win anything in Poch's first three years. And building the right things for maximising success in the future can't be measured by trophies won now.
