Because she's not in power fella. Shes just a shadow secretary, for example, her figures on policing didnt really matter did it? It only affected her credibility with figures and maybe had a slight negative affect on her party. Didnt effect me or you did it?
No, I understand. My point is that I mock Abbott/Corbyn/May/Grayling and many others. If they do something stupid then I will mock, especially as they are people in positions of power which affects all our lives. As for the racial abuse of Abbott, I genuinely didn't know about that. If I had I would not have compared her to LB.
You don't think her position as an MP affects peoples lives? For example think about the voting she does? think about the Laws that her and fellow politicians get through the house? That is just the start of it.
Point taken, what laws would be described as worthy of piss taking/mocking that she has helped pass? I thought we didnt have control of our own laws being a member of the EU
Come on bob you're being silly now. Did she not vote to trigger article 50? https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...nt-jeremy-corbyn-shadow-cabinet-a7570441.html As I said MP's affect our lives, although saying something stupid on Question Time doesn't but it makes you think about her ability?
I'm not being silly, just repeating your own words and then asking for an example. I just dont quite understand how she votes on laws when apparently we dont have control of our own laws. Doesnt quite make sense, dont you agree. At least we agreed about her mistakes not affecting our lives, just her credibility.
Which would be ironic because she voted for Article 50 and the default is 'No deal' which I think you described once as irresponsible? (I think you said it a while back)? So if May's fudge fails she could have helped to deliver a 'no deal'? So really she does affect us all.
I think you may have mistaken me for someone else regarding describing her as irresponsible. I've never spoken about her voting for article 50, I dont even know if she did or she didnt. I presume she did though.
I don't understand your comment "when apparently we don't have control of our own laws"? Is that a joke from what 'leavers' we're saying? I don't think I ever said that, although I probably said something like "the EU interfering in our laws". I think you are getting confused with the courts of justice maybe?
I haven't accused you of saying it. The leave campaign said it. Take back control of our money, borders and laws. I didnt realise it was just supposed to be a joke. So we had control over our laws all this time then? Blimey
Now you are being selective and silly. Read my post again and I made it clear that it regarded the ECJ. I know about this because this is my Mrs area. https://europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/institutions-bodies/court-justice_en
So you said it was okay to leave with a no deal? Just to clarify because I have this weird memory about certain posts. I wouldn't want to mis-quote you.
Sorry I cant see in your post where you mentioned the ECJ. It just said Abbott votes on laws that pass in the house.
No i never said it was okay to leave with no deal. Please read again. You said that I may have called Abbott irresponsible for voting on article 50. I then replied that you have mistaken me for someone else.
I think you've got your wires crossed Ellers. It's an easy mistake to make. Good job you're not Abbott, some would mock you for it! Take care old bean
Jesus Ellers, you're being ridiculous. Was it Abbott's idea to trigger Article 50 or May's? I have no idea if Abbott voted it for it or not, but it wouldn't have made any difference either way.
