I think both parties are totally fractured and the failure of both leaders for differing reasons to deal with that problem leaves voters totally frustrated. Any chance of a centre party gaining ground is stymied by most of them being 'remoaners' which leaves them almost as unappealing as the other two to those who want Brexit over and done with.

I still think Labour are now in a quandry as every week Corbyn's inadequacies lose them more of the non-partisan votes they will need to hope to win an outright majority, at times like this the Tories tend to pick up the fallout but in their current state Farage's new party might cost them dearly...
If we just Remained, Brexit would be over and done with. In the best possible way.

My point was that she is not stupid, as some make out, as like you, she has a degree.
You can read into my comment what you like.
I only read into something that is put in front of me. If I made as many mistakes at work as she has I would have been sacked. Degree or no degree she has made some stupid mistakes and the reason why she is ridiculed is because she is in a position of power.

They would be pretty stupid to do that right now, the day or day after they have pulled out of their previous party, when they have not yet formed, or joined, any political party.

So they get elected on their party's manifesto, spend the next 18 months working tirelessly against one of the key points of that manifesto 'to deliver Brexit' remorselessly calling for a 2nd referendum (because they didn't like the result of the 1st one) and then leave their party (which assisted their election) but refuse to allow their constituents the opportunity to reconsider their original election of these arrogant self-centred hypocrites.

Once again I can only describe these politicians as c*nts...

And many in their constituancies are demanding a by-election. One of them had a meeting with the local members who overwhelmingly voted to leave and she promised them she would respect their views and the result only to do this. They are not very happy and some are disgusted with her.
As I posted earlier.... Soubry said at the Press conference "we don't need a GE we need a peoples vote"

Diane Abbott has the piss taken out of her because she says ridiculous things and is totally unprepared for her brief. I've no knowledge that she's been threatened with violence or needed police protection attending her Party conference

Speaking during a Westminster Hall debate on the intimidation and abuse of candidates in elections, Ms Abbott said she had received rape and death threats, and had been described as an "ugly fat black b****" and a "n*****".

So her being a black woman in a position of power has no bearing on it ? Ok, my mistake.

That article is 2 years old and from the sub standard. Not everyone would have seen this. As I said I didn't know all this crap otherwise my response to Staines would have been different.

I wonder how credible they were. As I say, several people have been jailed for threats to Berger. I haven't heard of any brought against Abbott's antagonists, though I agree it's intimidating to receive them all the same

Pensioner Roy Brown was handed a community order in last year after sending her a letter threatening to ‘burn her alive’ and calling her ‘black vermin’....the **** got of lightly in my opinion.

The way things are going now the likelyhood is there will be one election or another in less than 18 months.

Actually the opposite is now likely as none of the defectors will vote down the government as they would be turkeys voting for Christmas. Every defector will increase May's likelihood of seeing out her term...

I asked a question Ellers, if you don’t want to answer that’s cool.
Do you think her race and sex have anything to do with the abuse she gets....even just a little bit.
Not from me, but probably from other people.
You need to look at your original post.
I find it quite ironic that some people are up in arms over the bullying of MPs like Luciana Berger but find it highly amusing when MPs like Diane Abbott are ridiculed.

Both are bullying......both are wrong.
You have gone from someone being ridiculed, to my degree, to race and sex?
My only point is that she makes a lot of mistakes in her job.... And 'bloody yes' I will ridicule because her job has an impact on our lives and if she is making mistakes then that is a concern. My mocking of her is a nice way of saying do you job properly and know what you are doing!
