Out of curiosity, why does everyone on here vote in a GE the way they do ? I mean do you vote for the person or the party ? Personally I vote for the party, which seems obvious to me but im seeing many disagree. Just a few arguments on twitter for and against the ‘breakaway’ MPs standing down and contesting by elections.
I don't think I've ever voted for an individual candidate, I would always vote for a party/manifesto. The quitters should definitely contest by-elections in my view.
I agree with this, but they'd be mad to do so until they are more established, probably as a party with a leader and a manifesto Tories will face the same when Soubry and Boles go

Unless of course you’re Olly Robbins, when you can get hammered in a bar in Brussels and give a very detailed running commentary to anybody in earshot ” Mark Francois
Soubry protester James Goddard charged with harassment please log in to view this image One of the protesters involved in an incident outside Parliament with Tory MP Anna Soubry has been charged with harassment. James Goddard, 29, has also been charged with two public order offences, the Crown Prosecution Service said. He will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on 19 March. The CPS said it had received a file of evidence from the Met Police relating to two incidents outside Parliament on 19 December and 7 January. The details of the charges are that Mr Goddard caused harassment, between December 18 2018 and January 8 2019, contrary to section 2 of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. He is also charged with causing racially aggravated harassment, alarm or distress on 7 January, contrary to the Crime and Disorder Act 1998; and with causing harassment, alarm or distress on 7 January, contrary to section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986.
Southern was the woman who was banned entry into the UK from France for racism. She's barely more than student age. I expect she'll grow out of it
Can we all thank Mr Francois for that tip - one set of journalists will ply him with drink while the other will fill his head with all sorts of fake news. The problem for the latter will be that if the debate so far is anything to go by, it will be totally uncoordinated and he will end up blurting out the truth by mistake.
Bet there's a few in court ready to take down his address so that they can 'take the debate' to him personally. Somehow I doubt he would enjoy the experience very much.
Not that I like the ****, in fact I can’t stand him but.........Did any of the ‘protesters’ that harassed Farage and his family a while back down his local pub ever get charged ? If not it yet again smacks of double standards.
I bet there won’t be.........most of the ‘suburban rebels’ would **** themselves from any confrontation and are pretty embarrassing. Gone are the days of ‘AFA’ in the 80’s
Rubbish there is no longer a gateway to Europe Please do not even hint that this has nothing to do with Brexit ... 100% sure they and the many others would of stayed if Brexit hadn’t happened So take responsibility for it as there will be many more who’s business strategy was planned and built around the U.K. economy slipping Project Reality so expect many more denials on here
They will move to Europe just watch and learn old kiddy ... no way would that be announced after a statement like they released last week ... the city knew ages ago about Honda and trend will snowball I guarantee you Does anyone on there think Sheep News is actually played out in Sheep Media ? It’s planned months ahead by much more clever farmers than the U.K. public
Honda spokesman: “This is not a Brexit-related issue for us, it's being made on the global-related changes I've spoken about. We've always seen Brexit as something we'll get through, but these changes globally are something we have to respond to.” Paul on Not 606: “Blame Brexit I tell you !!” Hard to work out who to believe
