Blimey, just realised this is the "world class, complete player" Liverpool fans spent six months dribbling from two orifices about.

He's fairly new and rusty so I think it is too soon to write him off, however every time I watch Rice since the Southampton game he has been superb - I expect him to be in the next England squad, even if his Irish team mates will be disappointed.

I didn't bother to read the post you were quoting initially, so thought you were talking about the linesman!

Should have done. Anyway, West Ham really should have won that. Liverpool were poor and West Ham had several clear cut chances to win it. Not a bad point for Liverpool.
Liverpool didn’t look like title contenders tonight, they were lucky West Ham couldn’t finish them off. Still, the gap is down to 3 points and City have the momentum back.

Will go top temporarily at least after Everton roll over on Wednesday night. Expect Liverpool will go back above them by beating Bournemouth but then it's a trip to Old Trafford.

Some interesting fixtures coming up. Not a foregone conclusion as surely Everton will be fighting to improve and Chelsea will not be easy for Man City. A random Bournemouth and a match at Old Trafford could also have an impact.
