Bit of a different thing on an electric bass, but I grew up being a massive fan of Jaco Pastorius, Larry Graham, Bootsie Collins, and then Flea. So I was massively inspired by popping and slapping. There's a couple of songs in our set where I play slap bass. But yeah that slap back on a double bass is a great sound.
