Loans might be our best bet to be fair if we can't get any of our top thirty choices in on a perm.

i hear the term “underwhelmed “ a lot but would like to know who we’d be overwhelmed or even just whelmed with!! I know nothing about him. Therefore my “whelm” level remains neutral

:emoticon-0137-clapp Got to give it to the lad coming up here. You were up for Sinclair as I remember, tough league this.

I'll be surprised if we don't manage to sign Eaves. He's out of contract in summer so wouldn't cost that much and Gillingham haven't appeared to openly block the move.

Fingers crossed we get him , we're in a good position and need a predator , not gamble on a Spurs trainee. Too much to lose not going up this year.

Sinclair looked excellent against Charlton. Then got injured and never looked decent. I never said I was anything about Sterling as I know nothing about him. As I say, who would any of us be overwhelmed with? Most on twitter are reacting the same but seem to forget we’re in the third division (not saying that’s you btw).

SUNDERLAND CLOSE ON GRIGG At the sixth time of asking, Sky Sports Newsbelieves Sunderland have agreed a fee for Wigan’s Will Grigg. We understand the deal is in the region of £1.5m, with Sunderland trying to push this through before the deadline having been after the striker for weeks.

BBC sport saying £4 million was the offer, seems an awful lot for a mediocre player but I am just going on hearsay, I don’t know how good he is

Let's be honest our striker options last year where awful, looking back doesn't help us move forward
