I was halfway up a mountain skiing (badly) in that weather in Poland, so it was probably another 3-4 degrees lower. Everybody I met on the slopes had a hip flask with either Vodka or a Hot toddy of some kind. So everytime I fell over, which was often, somebody would come and give me a shot.
