RACIST PIECE OF SH!TE

(and btw racism is against the law)

How is it racist? becuase his face is painted black? he is a character from a comedy show...who in this series does not have any racist views?

At halloween i got dressed up as a clown and had black face paint on...does that make me also a racist?

how the hell is he being racist? are you for real. get a grip of yourself you fool

Guys... Keep it cool, no one's being racist that's just a misunderstanding. Let's get back to being unified against the Mags and the other one. You know him.

I suggest you elicit the views of Afro-Caribbeans who have been a victim of this sort of thing.

Wonder how a BBC Comedy shown/and famous throughout the world got away with putting him in 2 epsiodes then??

You're being an idiot for the sake of being an idiot...are you Big_Chris in disguise??

And you, well-intentioned as you might be, are displaying a distinct lack of awareness outside your narrow circle(s) ..., btw

I completely understand what you are saying mate.....and you everyone is affected in different ways by different thing

I'm just defending the lad who is clearly not being racist.yet you brand him a "racist piece of ****e!"...he has chosen a picture of a renound character from a tv series.....a character that was only in one episode and then was put back intop the show, due to popularity from their fanbase.....

i think you're just being a bit harsh and OTT on the lad

Chris you are very deluded man. If you think people want you to stay for anything other than to rip the piss out of you, please by god take your head for a wobble. My misses works in mental health, can i bring her for this meet up to actually confirm that you are gone in the head?

If i ask for you at the bar im presuming ill get a reply of something along the lines of "its that one talking ****e in the corner". Also, ive met your source (or should i say sauce?) and he loves the limelight. I do believe he came up with the slogan "you know a big dollop is right".

Also, am i less of a Sunderland fan for living in Hartlepool? Are my friends who are from London that travel to every home and away game less of fans than you just because they are from London? Seriously grow up mate.

so if we signed an asian player and i changed my username to incorporate that, would i be a racist as i have a picture of a japanese akita?

ffs

i cant see anyone on here being racist, would he still be racist if he had a picture of a black cat?

Well good on yer

I think you are right (but it was a reply to his previous comment). Even Small Chris called me a fool for saying such, actually as it was from he-without-a coherent-argument-in-his-poor-wee-heed, it raised a chuckle

Putting aside the spurious claim about the audience or 'fanbase', I fail to see your argument here, sorry

This about a society made up of many racial and cultural ethnicities (-whether we like it or not and we may or may not agree with the policy makers decisions which have lead to a multi-ethnic and multi-racial Britain, however, now that this change has occured ...) within which it would be callous and debasing to offend the sensitivities of one of these groups of people.

Well we're going to have to agree to disagree here and not get into a tiff about it.....it's things like this that i believe ruin our societies...not being able to say anything or do anything without being scared of not being pc...when 99% of people wouldn't be offended...have a good weekend myrtle and enjoy the match tomorrow, haway the lads! FTM

If you are offended by a man with black face paint, surely you must be racist?

oh ...dear ...

For the benefit of your education my brethren;- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackface

Dazzla, being afraid of not being PC is a genuine concern if folk are not aware of the right choice of words and knowing the PC lingo is no way a measure of non-racism. To claim that "things like this that i believe ruin our societies" is a bit of an overstatement imo

"We have not kicked racism out of football, we have just made racism illegal" Garth Crooks (following some ugly scenes from the crowd in Albania) - you enjoy the game too matey

.

Images can be used in different ways and I've seen Papa Lazarou's image being used by racists to inflame/offend people and then hide behind the fact that it's 'a comedy icon' with feighned innocence.

At one time the BNP memberes must have had the largest collection of 'golliwog' images for similar reasons.

I have no idea if the forum member is racist or not but having the name "Super Gyan" next to an image of someone in 'blackface' is sailing pretty close to the wind in my opinion...

I'm really not looking to enter a debate about whether Robison's Golliwogs were, or were not a form of racism... I had a few when I was a kid and they're probably still in a drawer somewhere; I'd never think of putting one in my lapel now because I know it might offend someone, it might make me look like a racist and besides, there are plenty of other things I could pin to my lapel without risking either of those things.

myrtle how dare you question the lads beliefs and thoughts. you have no right you helmet. go and take your head for a wobble will you
