He will have 2 years left on his deal come the summer and if he won't sign a new one the club may think it is the right time to cash in. They could take the Clyne/Wanyama approach and sell him with one year left but you lose out on a lot of money that way and with our model being as it is and a new manager I think they might prefer to take the larger amount this summer and let him invest it.

Yeah think that could be logical. The other option would be Lemina who was vaguely linked to Spurs last summer but probably hasn't continued in the same direction to support that. Not fun but if that's the model, it would fund major work for Ralph.

I’ve only seen him get his feet off the ground a couple of times ..... reckon Shane could out-jump him!
 
I feel we're more likely to sell Lemina than Hojbjerg. I think Lemina deserves a chance under Ralph when he's back fit again, but he will have a lot to prove. Undoubtedly talented, but doesn't show it often enough.
 
I think we’ll be able to convince Pierre to extend his contract.
As much as I’ve enjoyed his all action displays this season, it is his first season as a regular in his career and as it stands I don’t think he’d get into any of the top six midfields(perhaps Arsenal).

Can’t see any contracts being signed until safety is all but guaranteed, but he will certainly be first in the queue.
