Cardiff City say they did not organise the private flight for record signing Emiliano Sala which has gone missing.

The club told Wales Online this morning that they offered their £15million new striker a commercial flight to come to Cardiff to link up with his team-mates for the first time.

However, other travel arrangements for the journey over the English Channel were made at Sala's end, say the Bluebirds.

Done deal! Reds sign left-sided defender

by Russell Hughes Follow @rusty_hughes
Liverpool have wrapped up a deal for left-sided defender Billy Koumetio from French side US Orleans Loiret.
The Reds had Koumetio on trial since November and have decided to make a move for the 16-year-old, who has previously played for Lyon.

And now the Daily Mail has reported that the left-sided defender will link up with the Academy as the U23s look to push up the table while the U18s try to win the title.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Brazilian full-back Emerson.

Emerson arrival could see Alexander-Arnold move into midfield
It will be interesting to see what kind of impact Emerson’s potential arrival at Anfield would have on Trent Alexander-Arnold.

So we have a new academy player coming: 16 y/o so all about potential rather than current ability.

I'll judge him in 4 years... Maybe later, defenders age like wine rather than like bananas.

I do not know how many of our under 23 we can upgrade next season.

UNDER 23 DETAILED SQUAD.

As in move to senior team?

Firs toff some names have already "moved" up like kelleher but you'd not consider him senior squad yet.

In short:

1. LB: Adam lewis.. unlikely but possible
2. RB: Ki.... the obvious one but is only 16 so I would say thats too soon.
3. Of all CBs: none are good enouhg. masterson, johnston, phillips. They just aint there
4. Gk: no.
6. Midfielders: highly unlikely from those on that list. christie-davies is prob the pick of them. Kane imo is given a new contract to be sold on later
7. Forwards: Duncan and Glaztel. clearly very young, clearly completely a class above everyone else. theres a couple others there that might make a league team somewhere like miller or mcauley

We must remember that brewster had his balls licked to sign a new deal and is called a senior despite never getting near a senior team.

for me the " youths in the seniors are quite mixed as well

Kelleher
Phillips
jones
camacho
ojo
chirivella
brewster
wilson
grabara

theres quite a few that you'd really not consider near first tema and pure u23s but they get called seniors as they got a number at one time or other.

so....

for my money.... duncan at no 10 WILL be seen in preseason. Ki and jones I've already called out in previously. Jones made it very nicely this preseason but didn't get any chances since. Ki is so yonug but could be a splash next preseason. so my shout is just watch duncan come in and get a chance.

Thought it would be a lot more than that tbf
It's part of the continental shelf around northern Europe that extends out beyond Ireland. Relatively shallow compared to deep ocean.
Same as the North Sea, which is why fixed platform oil rigs can stand on the sea-bed.
