thats nice but he said he would go back to ajax not us in the future and frankly he spend 2 years biting people and hurting our club to get out.
In effect we saved his a career, made him a world star and managed to get a good fee out of him. Unlike some (alonso for example) I've never seen him back at anfield during a winter break nor need he be.

What a ****ing player, though. I'll never forget the one that was coming over his head which he controlled with his shoulder and then volleyed it in.
Still think he was the best player we've had. I'm recent times at least. He matched the goals scoring record in the league (now Salahs) despite being suspended for the first sh!t load of games. If he was in this team, I think he could get over 40 in the league, quality player
