...and will play Vietnam in the quarter finals on Thursday. Vietnam finished 3rd in Group D and beat Jordan on penalties in their Round of 16 match yesterday.
How is it that Spurs were able to keep Son until about a week ago, when we lost Yoshida a couple of weeks or more ago.
Loved Danny. That was also my favourite kit. Nearly ruined it last year.

Team will be training this weekend in preparation for the coming games. Ralph says they have had to rely on a lot of video sessions as there hasn't been a preseason, but this free weekend will provide an opportunity to put it into practice. Adds that the players are open-minded and eager to learn.....bound to happen when they see results from their efforts. Spirits must be lifted all round.

Just had a look at some statistics for aerial duels won, and as a team our defenders are a long way short of the numbers won by other teams.
Surprisingly, or maybe not, Vestergaard is by far our most successful.

Interesting interview with Ralph H. Says the main thing is not getting players before the summer, but clearing out players that don't fit in the team. Also says he has rules they have to live with.....dressing room must be tidy and he takes a picture to show them if it isn't. Fines the players...not with money...but by making them do things that take up their time, such as designing training sessions for the youth team.
Can we like this guy more?
