Yes, we had a vote, you don't like the result, tough, that's democracy.

EU style democracy is have a vote, you don't like the result, keep on voting till they give up and you get a result you do like...

Yep and because of the feeling of the country we may well have another vote because of the circumstances... ie there is a question should we leave with a no deal? because we were unable to get a deal through our parliament
You cannot expect the nation to crash out just because 2 years ago we had a vote

The real issue here is that the no deal Brexiteer is a small minority in the U.K. These people are the people that will lose imo but hopefully they will understand democracy in the long run

So imo there is the real fear in the U.K.
The only chance a no deal Brexiteer has to win will be in a second vote but it looks a very weak position to me ... still to date no a single forward thinking plan from a no deal Brexiteer

**** them

I imagine the EU would love to implement all of that and it's probably something they will work towards in the future. I think May crawling to them throughout the negotiations will only enhance the EU's bullying nature. If we'd had a Donald Trump style negotiator we'd have told them how we're going to leave and f*ck them if they didn't like it. I bet they can't believe how easy it's been so far but the stalemate we're in does no one any good...

My thoughts exactly, Sooper

The point I'm making is we should have gone in from the start with our position as 'No deal' rather than the supine way we've let them dictate the whole show. They've fairly walked all over us from start to deadlock...

No point in wasting oxygen given thinking what we should of done
The EU imo have done little wrong in these negotiations... Any idea that they have is pathetic imo. It’s the British way to blame someone else but no more ... The UK has made this mess themselves no getting away from that

Plus of course we are the laughing stock currently of the western world ... we best get used to that

Told most on here we are not capable of putting on a cake sale in this country without division and turmoil. The thing that may save us is that we have a out of control consumer culture as said before we are the big shop

The EU is about to crumble any day now. Italy and France are collapsing. We are getting out just in time!!!!!

The EU is trying to force countries into merging into a dominant superstate. We are getting out just in time!!!!!!!!

If and Trump sort of gives away your state of mind

Reset

Now comes the EU bully card by many
It’s not fair boo babies

The EU is a massive force and we are a weak nation hope most understand that now and if big business walks away ... they are ready to do so as told then where are we ... crushed

Remember Ireland is the EU anyone consider them as bullies ? nope it will be the Germans and the French

The thinking is out of control by Brexiteers now

Remainers could always see this our position has never changed

More of the same crap from our resident europhile expert haven’t been on this thread for weeks I tune in and he’s still spouting the same s***e.

Time for a revolution, G ;)

Now if we only get the ****s away from their goggleboxes, watching ‘I’m a celebrity on ice dancing’ and out on the streets.....we’ll be half way there.

Then of course you have to get them to stop looting ‘Footlocker’, ‘Currys’ and ‘Game’, instead fighting the ‘man’ in Parliament Square........only then will we be almost there :)
My Mum has just given my boy, the builder, a copy of The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, the builders’ revolutionary manifesto. So the revolution might start up in leafy Warwickshire if the lad actually reads it.

Had a detective round this afternoon as I had to sign a statement to witness the photos of the wounds to the boy’s ear I had sent to the cops. This bloke took 20 minutes to fire up his laptop. Zero leads on finding the ****ers who did it, and after 7 weeks we won’t be getting any is my guess. In the meantime the skin graft hasn’t taken, but thankfully acted as a biological dressing and his ear doesn’t look too bad after the graft was picked off, but now hidden under dressings again.

I see SkyNews got a bit of a black eye tonight. They went to Leeds which was 50/50 split. Apparently in their poll on a "losers vote" 42% yes 56% No. When they did their national poll it was 44% Yes 56% No. <laugh>
The present through gritted teeth had to report this and when interviewing people the majority said "we just want to leave, WTO whatever". I bet Adam Boulton and Kay Burley will be spitting tomorrow.

Well they better start listening because there are many many people now getting P'd off with a few MP's trying to take over democracy.
Even Nigel Farage has said he will set up a Brexit party if we are betrayed and that will cause a seismic shock in politics because there are millions of people who don't like they way this is happening and will vote against the main parties.
As for Leeds area... they better listen in London as there are a few Labour MP's that will be losing there jobs at the next GE.

It really is disgusting that S22t like this happens. Sadly it happens everywhere.
I am surprised that the cops couldn't do anything with the mobiles. I always thought (especially if bluetooth is on) that the mobile signals bounce off each other (trying to match) recording the time/place/phone.

Leeds.

Yes Leeds.
But more importantly the national poll mirrored theirs. Overwhelmingly people don't want a "losers vote".
It was also interesting regarding nation data in that people just want to get on with it.
Like I have been saying for months people want this done by March 29th.

I heard some bloke on the wireless say something different, and he agreed with what I think, so I'm right.

No Worries Stroller. Keep your 'loser vote' tinted glasses on. Put cotton wool in your ears to what people want.
And like the referendum in 2016 it will come back and bite you in the arse.
Just don't winge about it because the signs are all showing that we will be out of the Gangster gang on March 29th.
I wish it was tomorrow then we can all move on from this thread.

Well, the polls suggest that people want another vote and that if there was one, they would vote Remain. But why give people what they want, that would be undemocratic wouldn't it?
