Or we don’t go up, sell Bowen and Grosicki for say 20 million then we have them for another 20 months languishing at the bottom of the Championship again waiting for a miracle.

This is exactly what I expect to happen.

We may have miraculously escaped relegation this season and actually started looking like a semi-decent team. But don't worry...the twats will do everything within their power to ensure we have the best possible chance of relegation next season.

Ehab is really predictable, as soon as there is a sign of things getting better which might lead to us getting to the play off's he suddenly get's interested to hang on.

It will be interesting if City falls off the pace, and what their reaction will be?
Yes! Lose 2 on the bounce and it’ll be a different statement coming out! He should have kept his big mouth shut!

Agree, but not done intentionally / out of spite ... simply out of incompetence, greed, arrogance, ....

The gall, hypocrisy and lies are beyond belief. And it makes me near sick when he says 'ours'. You are not one of us Enob and you will never be you utter twat.

Now, suspend logic for a moment, and imagine we did go up via the play offs this season (it isn't going to happen btw). Talk about mixed emotions. Great that we'd be back in the PL, with yet another chance to **** it up - and **** it up we surely would. The twats would stay on, in which case we'd be the least well prepared club in history going into the PL, then there's no way they would spend as would be needed, and we'd likely be stuck with the twats as they either wouldn't want to sell <did they ever?> or their greed would mean the selling price would be ridiculous (still / again). Even if they did sell, we'd still be the least well prepared club in history. What a **** situation for us fans to be in.

OK we get to the play off final

That will be another Wembley visit that I am likely to miss, because I couldn't bring myself to go last time to watch a game that I didn't want to win (because I thought if we won they would stay...and they did...so I was right

So ideally for me either we just pip L**ds to the last play off spot...then lose the semi
Or we meet L**ds in the semi and knock them out then lose the final

I don't want promotion either way because we'll never get rid of them

{logic re-engaged}

My logic was slightly different to yours 'tash; I went to the game, tbf, it was an away match, plus Hull City playing at Wembley is something that generations gone would probably have given non-essential bits of their body to see - I wanted them to win, even now when my hearts no longer really in it, I still want them to win. Walking back to the car I was absolutely flat, pleased we'd beaten the biggest club in the world but not caring one jot that we were back in the supposed best league in the world. Even when the season started I could barely generate a spark, I saw no home matches and only Burnley, Stoke, S'land and Leicester away.

Should we get there this time (not really likely imho) I'll probably go, feeling the same set of ****ty emotions that I had versus Big Club. Where did it all go wrong, eh?
