We needed a change because the results were not good enough and it looks like we are getting one, i'll be judging the new man in the same way that I have with previous Managers by their record with us. The man is not a novice like Pellegrino and has won a big trophy so he can't be completely useless.
But the previous ex-Valencia manager to that one, took us to our highest ever position in the PL
Decision would’ve been made after we lost to Fulham. Board probably been panicked by others picking up wins around us also.
Flores has experience of the league and seems ok. Only thing i would say against sacking Hughes is that he does still seem to have the players on his side. Defensively poor, but they do still seem United.

They won 12 league games that season (only 9 draws), including 6 wins over an eight game period in November/December. Igahlo scored in 5 of those 6 wins.
But they only won 2 of their final 12 games, which is ultimately why he was sacked. Also only managed 40 goals in their 38 games. (Conceded 50)

Hughes now 2/9 to be next manager to go. I know odds don't mean that much but that is very very short.

He is stopping short of suggesting that Flores could be any worse, because if the past three years have indicated anything, it's that things can always get worse.
Possibly coincidental, but they lost Capoue at the end of that season; after conceding 37 goals in 33 PL matches, they shipped 13 in their final 5 while facing some pretty mediocre opposition. We have a lot of midfielders, but we could really use a Wanyama/Gueye type screening for our otherwise hopeless CBs.
