We are so desperate for something to happen........Could we not be just hoping for something to happen no matter what??...........IMO we won't be getting any sort of change until Reeds spot has been covered. Then you would expect him (or her) to bring in their own team to back them. Which of course may be happening already? Somehow I don't think the rumours will stop there though.........

Nah, think he’s done for now. His record is awful. Reckon we are a good squad being mismanaged sadly. So much chopping and changing, defence all over the place. Zonal marking calamities every week. He’d still be starting Long if he hadn’t got injured FFS. Have to say he got a fair crack and failed, time to try something new and give the new fella a decent chance of staying up. Still a lot of games to play.

Decision would’ve been made after we lost to Fulham. Board probably been panicked by others picking up wins around us also.

Flores has experience of the league and seems ok. Only thing i would say against sacking Hughes is that he does still seem to have the players on his side. Defensively poor, but they do still seem United.

That said, if you were to look at his results, they are dire.

And it’s a results business <ok>

Pellegrino never lost the players btw.

The search for a replacement is underway? Should have been sorted before the sacking, their timing is appalling.

One would hope that they plan to have someone in the frame immediately, with Kelv managing the Spurs match and the chosen replacement on hand. The Cardiff match is enormously important.

One would think by now that one has learned not to hope, however.

Perhaps they are trying to arrange a complete package, DoF and Manager in as one team?
