You know what's pathetic? The BBC website still had the "Chelsea look to maintain their unbeaten start" headline when we were 2-0 up!

In fairness, they probably know how often we buckle when we’re ahead, so they thought there was a chance! <laugh>

It’s just infuriating. 3-1 flatters Chelsea massively. They’ve been absolute crap.
Then it's we who have failed by not scoring more isn't it? 3rd in the table and a win against a top team. Missing easy chances= BIG negative.

Great game.

Subs didn't really have much chance/time to influence but there wasn't any need to.

Before the game, I saw that Spurs were playing in a 4-5-1 formation with Chelsea playing 4-3-3. I thought that formation was quite bold, and dare I suggest, arrogant against a team like Spurs.

There were a few negatives, but nothing to worry about. Everyone played together brilliantly as a team.

Did anyone else think Sissoko was tasked with "assisting" Aurier?

For Chelsea, the worst news from this match could be a potential injury to Eden Hazard. He has not moved much since being crocked by Serge Aurier.

I did say he needed to do something to cement a starting spot, and this certainly fits the bill...
Hazard did it to himself...... Aurier got the ball cleanly.
Refs also never know whether he’s feigning injury as he always makes out as if he is at deaths door. Feckin’ cheatin’ little twat, when he actually hurts himself no one takes a blind bit of notice.

Well, it certainly wasn’t a perfect performance, too many missed chances and a late ‘switch off’ goal conceded. But........

WHO GIVES A FLYING FECK? <cheers>
I do, we can't afford to miss chances like that against Inter, Barca or Arsenal can we? We MUST learn to bang them in.

Superb performance. Genuinely should have been at least 5 or 6. One of those games where you're not looking for a MOTM but a top five. And it's still tricky.

One little moment of note for me early on was how we were absolutely bossing it after about 10-15 mins, were high up the pitch and Chelsea broke. By the time the second shot was made by them (first one blocked?) we had 9 players in the penalty area. Mauricio Pochettino. He ****ing is magic you know.

What a team. And that's so much down to Poch. Almost every other manager we've had in my lifetime could easily take that group of players and make some midtable mush out of it. Poch has tactics and approaches and discipline that improves the squad as a whole so thoroughly.
