I thought before the game that if we bring our A game we could win as Chelsea are bang average-Hazard is their quality player and makes everything happen in that team.

What I feel made a huge difference was NOT PLAYING OUT AT THE BACK. Hugo was kicking long and in that one kick was taking out their 3 forward players who were pressing our defence ready to pounce. That helped us to dictate the midfield and quickly get on the front foot. Also our defenders were making the correct decision of not faffing around at the back. If in a tight position CLEAR IT!

Moussa MkII was immense and brought back memories of a few years back when Moussa MkI played alongside Dier and controlled the area in front of the back 4. They dominated and thus allowed the front 4 to do their job.

    Read the thread.
We were better than the score suggests.
As for Sissoko? Who needs Bale when we've got Sissoko:emoticon-0159-music:emoticon-0159-music

Sorry mate. Can I use the “I have an entire kitchen to clean so no time” excuse?

We ripped them apart. Brilliant performance and the best I can remember for a very long time. I said earlier that we could have had between 6 and 9 goals. Probably best to record MOTD, as hopefully it’ll show decent coverage of our chances. Chelsea were ****ing awful. Son’s goal is special. <ok>

Ah, what a result. Got back about twenty minutes ago. My mate had a complete touch, backed Alli 3-1 for a tenner, won just under £2k.

First complete performance of the season and a great time to do it as well.

So many of the players excelled, Sissoko, Alli, Foyth, Aurier... Just superb. Kane finally back to his best as well, hassled their CBs all game and held it up brilliantly.

Sissoko's form over the past month or two has been unreal, absolute monsterous displays, he was up against three top midfielders today and dominated every single one of them. Was great seeing Wembley recognise it as well, his name was sung so many times.

And finally that goal by Son... Gonna take a long while for me to forget that.

Better...we could have had 6 or 7 ... seriously not exaggerating and Sissoko was fantastic...need him on a new contract and soon!

  8. Oh, the irony in that comment......<laugh>

If the coverage is anything like the match statistics and report on the BBC website is anything to go by, I think they’ve got the White House on their editorial list....... 60% possession to Chavs and only 12 fouls committed by them against 19 by us apparently....... FICTION!!

Update: I’ll take some of that back as the MOTD coverage wasn’t bad at all :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Yeeeeeaaaaahhh!

Absolutely buzzing. It's been a while since we played anything like that. Magnificent from Toby, Moussa, HK, Sonny, Christian Eriksen and for me, MotM Dele Alli. He played Jorginho off the park. Welcome to the PL, mate! <laugh> He looked absolutely lost and it was pretty obviously something that we'd worked on. Dele hassled him to the point where he didn't know which way up was.

Additionally, a fast start.....WTF? After something like 2 seasons of coming out like we're still asleep for the first half, we rip into someone and tear them to bits? It'd be nice to see it again....soon. I get that some games are better managed by taking the sting out of them but we look like a disorganised rabble in some games. Let's put an end to that for a while and play some football from the off.

I put up the picture from the game 40 years ago that ended 3-1 and when I went to get what's left of my hair cut yesterday, I predicted 3-1 to the guys in there. Travelling home with a load of them to deepest scum territory was a very sweet experience. ****ers!

    COYS!

P.s. in line with RCL's good luck, yesterday I saw the best live Damned performance in 30+ years and Mrs B's been offered a place on an accelerated promotion scheme at work that'll see her jump up 1 or 2 levels in the next couple of years. Yaaaaahoooooo!

I have to wonder if Hugo choosing to play it long is a direct result of Gazza's form this season, considering Gazza is far more direct when clearing the ball than Hugo has ever been - and if there's one thing a player doesn't want, it's an understudy capable of doing something better than they can...

    Spurs very impressive today.
I hope you can catch the two above you. The thought of either winning the title is too much to bear.

Brilliant performance, great goals. We had a fully fit front line and it showed. Credit to Aurier who I thought had a great game and Davies really looked solid too.

Being at Wembley still is a pain in the arse, but it's all going to be worth it when the club reveal the delays were because they were building a 50 ft Moussa Sissoko statue <ok>

Is there a single person who would not have rejoiced if we had signed Jorginho and sold Sissoko?

Yes, you guessed it, ladies and gents, DH's road trip is back with episode 3. This week, DH takes a trip to "The Shed End" to see what he can find out, tune in for a blinding episode.

    PRE-MATCH

But a defeat vs these c**ts is not good. It never is.....
Gonna be a long night for you, bruv.

I want to see Dele Alli cry
    Dele doesn't cry.

I hope we play better than they do, no matter the result
We outplayed you and got the result... That's gotta hurt

this spurs test may be too soon. If Pochettino gets his tactics right, i fear we'll be picked off
Your fears came true, my son.

Also Alli is back. That bloke always has a great game against us

Yep, he's the scourge of Chelsea that's for sure.

I cannot stand them. Horrible team and fans.

I mean, as irony goes, this is up there.

We'll beat them 6-1...Prefer it to be at WHL again but at our other home is ok.

There's a reason why Spurly doesn't share his ****, give him back the joint and sit down, mate.

    It’s Wembley
    it’s Tottenham
    we’re going to smash them

    Ermm....

If Spuds win they will end our undefeated run, the worst scenario this season so far.

    Worst scenario indeed.

Spurs midfield of Dier and Sissoko, we should be dominating those two.

**Clearly not watched Sissoko this season**

    DURING

    **1-0**
    utter sh*te....
    Great header though, yeah?

Are we that moronic? It’s an exact same goal as last year, pathetic and so was Kepa there

    Kepa cost £70m...

We are in for a long night. To no ones surprise.

Yeah but it'll be a fun long night.

never fancied Kepa since he arrived, never has given me confidence

    Kepa cost £70m...

    **2-0**
    oh my god kepa wtf
    KEPA COST £70M...

    We are getting wrecked. 2-0.

    Yes, yes you are.

We've looked sh*te for a while to be frank and Tottenham have the quality to exploit it.

And exploit it we did indeed.

One of our main rivals and half of them are playing like they don't give a sh*t

Disgraceful isn't it? Your players should be ashamed of themselves.

Thought kepa could've done better on both goals.

KEPA Co.... Yeah, you all know. New name is Kepa ArrizabaLOLga

lose this and its citys year again

<laugh> As if you stood a ****ing chance challenging City

    I'm so sick of Morata

    I would be too, tbh.

Ronaldo is dressed as a korean man...hard to stop

Wait 'til you see what he does for our third...

    we're gonna win 3-2 - f*ck them

    Just stop embarrassing yourself.

its just too easy for Spurs....

    Word.

How are we losing a midfield battle agsinst dier and sissoko

Because Moussa Sissoko has decided to become the best CM in world football, alright?!

    Why are they booing Marcos?

Ah I dunno, mate, small case of he murdered a girl perhaps?

If someone breaks Kane's leg, I wouldnt mind if we lose 6-0. Just go out there David and get the job done.

    Virgin.

The only positive is it should be 4 or 5. At least there's a chance of a comeback.

Sounded smart in your first sentence. Then you ****ed it.

Sissoko has actually had a better season than Kante imo but he won't get the credit

Well at least someone outside of Spurs has noticed this!

    **3-0**

    Son-aldo

    DH likes this.

f**k me we are making them look like Barcelona.

Spursalona, am I right? AM I RIGHT?!

Jorginho lol. Go back to Italy.

    Brutal.

    I f**king hate Dele Alli. Boy is a c**t.

Amazed it took this long for someone to mention something about Alli. Good boy, Del, keep it up.

Also they have rookie centre back

Yeah but he's Juan of our own.

    AFTER

logging off to go puke! Terrible

Feel better, mate. Here's hoping you recovered in time to watch MOTD <ok>

    should be 7 or 8 to 0.

    Yup.

    We have been out Sarri'd.

I actually respect Sarri but Sarri-ball was no match for Poch.

Spurs will be raging they’ve only won this by 2 goals when it could have been 22

Yeah we were, although we're still pretty happy with the win.

Not turning up for a match against Spuds is a cardinal sin

You turned up... You just didn't do much.

Imagine of Hitler was a Chels today lol.........

The English is so bad it's nigh on impossible to understand but I'm getting the impression it's meant to be an anti-semitic joke from one of our classy rival fans.

Back from the game. What a disgusting performance

Yeah but at least you got to watch one side play ****ing brilliant, eh mate?

For me, replacing Sissoko was third on the list this summer after Mousa Dembele and Big Vic. Last season, Moussa created an effective role for himself, albeit not at at the level that he's currently playing.

Now, if you'd offered me Jorginho for one of those other two...
