I wouldn't have a clue myself, but Kieran Maguire, that football finance expert who comments on these things from time to time, reckons it's worth much less. I think the figure he used was something like £15-20m.

they tried to get a banner stopped, but the city fans revolted
9 months later, city fans were moved to the north stand for whatever reasons they spouted

I see it more as an acknowledgement of the number of years spent supporting your team. At 60 that was already over 50 years for me.Although I'm 60, I'm happy with 65 For the oap. It's the young people's concessions we need, the parents/ grandparents already have a full price ticket to buy. The kids must be on a concession. Are you listening you tyre squealing nob jockey
We live in a very similar close of houses to my wifes parents 200 miles away in the northwest.Wages are lower in t'north as well. The point is disposable income. Incidentally the second lowest was Norwich. Yet they still fill their ground. Must be a proper football city. And it has the third most pubs per square mile in England to tempt people.

But i agree kids must be the first priority.
If you wish to dispose of it I accept Western Union. Thanks

However a 60 year old could turn up for their first season when a club reaches the top flight.
The club is worth however much someone wants to pay for it, there may have been a bidding war forcing the price up, the Allams would have relished this so if they are set to receive £40-45m they are not going to blow it now

Most in the East cheered them on. People started to come down the steps to help keep that flag. In fact I think it was that that made the stewards relent.Lest we forget most of the 'fans' weren't onside at this point. Loads in the ground booed, tutted and tsked.

I'm sure I've said this before but Norwich City have decent owners and they value their fans. They have valued their fans for many years. It's not really a mystery how they fill their ground.Wages are lower in t'north as well. The point is disposable income. Incidentally the second lowest was Norwich. Yet they still fill their ground. Oh and if I had a suit like that I wouldn't wear it!Twat...
