I'm not sure what links Walter Tull to Ayr? Maybe, his brother who was adopted by a Glasgow family? Maybe he was stationed there at some point?

Mrs B has family in Ayr and we've been there a few times and it's very nice but his will be the first black face that I've ever seen there.

Walter Tull had his officer training in Ayrshire.

Can it be tied to him signing a contract with Rangers in 1917?

Could argue that it is a tribute to Chas so that's why he's pictured, but surely the pictures are of the people attending.
