I’ve got inside information of what was said: 1. General Club Update Aim of the supporters club - more delay tactics Club sale - still 24 hours away Work in the community - non existent Club history - in the process of being rewritten 2. Facilities Disabled facilities - how can we make money out of this? Nobody should watch for free Stadium wifi - fat chance of using it Stadium condition - covered in chewing gum and bird **** 3. Ticketing - one price for all 4. Marketing Tigers TV - occasionally some games will be shown Matchday experience/atmosphere - look at how good our half time entertainment is and our three tracks of repeated music is fantastic Hall of Fame - please attend. Somebody needs to
****ing ridiculous I immediately thought it was PLT when reading that but after OLM’s post I do seem to recall Geoff saying some things in an interview we all said would upset Ehab, so that’s probably what it is. People finally taking note of the stadium condition then. I noticed it when I was attending and that hasn’t been since 15/16, I was told I was off my head and the stadium looked fine it was a total dump then can’t imagine what it looks like now, bet the sides are covered in moss and thick green slime.
What they did with the south stand concourse is pretty good. Think it needs more of that on other stands - not sure how that’d affect Hull FC though. Stadium looks dated already though.
This is so typical of the Allam's, anyone who speaks out against them gets the cold shoulder. All these promises of closer ties with the fans have been a delaying tactic so they can do nothing. HCST need to just need to keep their powder dry until these ****s are gone, as even if they did attend the meeting **** all gets done as a result of it.
Repainted most of it with the tiger head from the badges. The grey walls replaced with amber and black everywhere.
If by ‘that woman’ you mean Babs, I highly doubt it She seemed good friends with Geoff when I’ve met them both together
I don’t remember her name just that at a previous meeting, people on here were unhappy because she was raising points that weren’t important in the grand scheme of things.
Barbera was rather misrepresented on here, after Geoff, she was the most vocal on the committee. I think they're all different people this time anyway aren't they? (we'll find out when the minutes are released today or tomorrow)
Was it the flask or the scarfs, or going to a meeting inappropriately dressed or telling them like it is which upset the Allams? which or whatever it was can't have them dictating who is on the Trust board.
It's difficult to describe properly. It wasn't a specific accusation of doing something really bad. The club just repeatedly complain about him on various things. They say that he stirs things up and generates bad feeling towards the club. Obviously it's their own actions which do that in reality. They had a huge issue with him/us promoting the cause of the sacked groundsmen (they're convinced that he went to their house or something, that one made no sense) and they complained retrospectively about the Allam Out scarf thing despite saying nothing at the time. One really weird gripe the club expressed was that he conceded in a meeting that 'AFC' was something we could compromise on if we it meant we got the rest of the name back, and on other occasions in public expressed why he would rather see the full name used. I don't think that's inconsistent, just realistic. But Ehab had a huge issue with it for some reason. I sat in a meeting when Ehab listed all this and it was surreal. He was going on about people's credibility which is hard to listen to coming from Ehab Allam. Whenever we picked him up on anything he'd just interrupt and rant about something else. Ahead of the meeting I was looking forward to being able to argue these points and explain how wrong he is. But before very long it was obvious it was going nowhere.
East Stand rep Ben Andrew... Ben Andrew @BenAndrew112 They were honest mate, basically there’s a lot of NDA’s and things they can’t say. It’ll be in the minutes but they said there’s more than one substantial bid on the table and people are doing their due diligence. The North Stand reps are Ash Durham and Mike Yardley (who was unable to attend last night), but these are just the ones I've come across on Twitter.
Isn’t Ash the guy who won the flight for a holiday last season (or the one before?) for the half time competition? I remember him being on the pitch and people around me in the East Stand complaining about him and his antics on Twitter at the time about how he disregarded anybody’s issues with the management of the club because he just wanted everybody to support the team. I think his view has changed now though. I see him in the chippy before most games.
