Yes. Many people, me included, think that is the case.
Doesn’t mean they can’t meet other groups or individuals separately as well, but I do think that they HAVE to invite the Trust to the meetings that they HAVE to have.
Reading the link and the meetings that have taken place it doesn't necessarily follow. Though there aren't that many clubs with supporters trusts. Don't forget our current owners could interpret the away fans initiative as meaning the money should be spent on the away fans of other clubs.
As an example of reading things and interpretations lways like the story, supposedly true, of the chap in the Navy up for promotion. His superior officer wrote a recommendation ending " All in all, a capable officer who has been known to return on board drunk".
The officer saw this and went in and complained he wasn't happy with it. Why, asked his superior officer. He said he objected to the use of the word drunk as it would prejudice the promotion board's impression of him and harm his chances. Is that one word all you object to he was asked. Yes, he replied. Fine, said the superior officer and rewrote it this time ending with " All in all a capable officer who has been known to return on board sober".
Some no doubt would be happier with the second recommendation.
