You can see the progress online as the spurs site has some time lapse cameras. I sometimes have a quick look because I quite like seeing construction projects unfold. Without meaning to sound big headed, it came as no great surprise that it wasn't ready for the original date.

The manchild has developed a borderline personality disorder in the last few years which makes it impossible for him to man manage effectively.
A mate of mine just came back from England, quite a few of his mates work on the site. Apparently, there’s been all sorts of problems with workmanship. At one point health and safety ordered everybody off site except plumbers and electricians, who had to sort out the numerous dangers in the work that had been done so badly.
Some of the new glass apparently warped in the heat in high summer.
