They were when they played togetherTwo of those players were not up to standard and im still waiting for taylor to make it at the top.byram flopped and mowatt was far too slow.
Am i ?blimey i never realised that.thanks for pointing it out.in future i will just put a load of blanks and you can fill it in for me.that will save me loads of time.So using that argument, we should get rid of every player that fails to tackle. Or pass. Or dribble. Or shoot. Or head. Or cross. Or score........?
I'm not sure if you realise it, but that's exactly what you're saying:
'The youngster has failed to do an important part of his job on a few occasions, so he must go'.
But why just the goalkeeper for letting in a few goals? Why not everyone for doing what they're supposed to?
Byram was a one season wonder who got lucky.mowatt is not championship standard. They were when they played together
I dont think he reads my posts bud.Whilst to not the same level as some, I have a nagging concern over BPF. He is a very promising Keeper but I do feel we should have brought in better for this season.
I do believe he should always start ahead of Blackman as I believe there is very little between the two and I’d rather develop our own and with us chasing Gunn on loan at the start of the season I do believe Bielsa also wanted better.
But the season is well under way, we have who we have and we have to get behind him, we can’t destroy his confidence and it would/could be a disaster if the fans got on his back
Its too early for panto stuff.so just take it from me that i want better.Oh yes you will

Has the milk gone sour ?True, he just prints them out and wipes his a*se with them.
Let’s hope he doesn’t drop them
Any goalie would have looked bad playing for sunderland.he made some good saves on saturday for brum hence my comparison. Not at all fella... forums all about opinions. You don’t rate him, that’s fine... just in suggesting lee camp you’d picked a horse at the knackers yard and a guy who made a series of clangers at Sunderland last season, so thought it a strange example.
I’m of a view bpf has talent and has put in some excellent performances but he’s young and Inexperienced... probably selling himself early for the first goal being an example...
I get why people would want a more proven keeper if we’re serious about promotion.
Disagree about Mowatt he never progressed after his good season and gradually went backwards .I thought he was overweight and over rated and now fails to get a game even at OxfordNo competition, Peacock-Farrell by a mile! I'm a great believer that we want players who know what being Leeds means and our youngsters who have been here a while understand that. That's why I was upset when Byram, Cook, Mowatt and Taylor were sold as we should have been building our team around them and they needed each other. With Bielsa I am still of that same belief and whilst it was missing on Saturday, he has got the team playing the way I want, fighting for everything and played some fantastic football. There will always be ups and downs on the way as we rebuild and we need some older heads that's for sure. What I don't ever want to see again is paying stupid millions and millions of pounds to have someone play for us who doesn't give a damn and only comes for the money. I've seen that too much and hated it.

Because we need our youngsters to play for us and give us stability moving forwards

I get what you're saying but if Peacock-Farrell eventually becomes a top class keeper and we're still stuck in the championship do you think he'd stay if he has a chance to earn megabucks in the PL?
No, neither do I. Same goes for other homegrown players like Phillips, so while it's commendable to want a side filled with Leeds youth and show them loyalty, it sadly doesn't work like that anymore
So we should aim to increase the quality of the squad regardless of where those players come from, and if that means replacing former Leeds youth with players with no previous attachment to the club so be it, because when the crunch comes and they're offered more money by the likes of little Bournemouth they won't show any loyalty to Leeds United whether they're homegrown or not

the statue never moved...they never doYou called camp a damn good goalie because he made s couple of good saves against us. The fans who see him regularly don’t agree.
But if it was a crap defence that made him look bad at Sunderland maybe the catalogue of errors in front of bpf for both goals on Saturday didn’t help him.
