Byram was great going forward, he could strike a ball well too, but he looked so awkward when he was defending!
Am i ?blimey i never realised that.thanks for pointing it out.in future i will just put a load of blanks and you can fill it in for me.that will save me loads of time.
No ****. Maybe you should get off the fence and tell it to us straight instead of all the beating about the bush.
Not at all fella... forums all about opinions. You don’t rate him, that’s fine... just in suggesting lee camp you’d picked a horse at the knackers yard and a guy who made a series of clangers at Sunderland last season, so thought it a strange example. I’m of a view bpf has talent and has put in some excellent performances but he’s young and Inexperienced... probably selling himself early for the first goal being an example... I get why people would want a more proven keeper if we’re serious about promotion.
Any goalie would have looked bad playing for sunderland.he made some good saves on saturday for brum hence my comparison.
You called camp a damn good goalie because he made s couple of good saves against us. The fans who see him regularly don’t agree. But if it was a crap defence that made him look bad at Sunderland maybe the catalogue of errors in front of bpf for both goals on Saturday didn’t help him.
Disagree about Mowatt he never progressed after his good season and gradually went backwards .I thought he was overweight and over rated and now fails to get a game even at Oxford
I get what you're saying but if Peacock-Farrell eventually becomes a top class keeper and we're still stuck in the championship do you think he'd stay if he has a chance to earn megabucks in the PL? No, neither do I. Same goes for other homegrown players like Phillips, so while it's commendable to want a side filled with Leeds youth and show them loyalty, it sadly doesn't work like that anymore So we should aim to increase the quality of the squad regardless of where those players come from, and if that means replacing former Leeds youth with players with no previous attachment to the club so be it, because when the crunch comes and they're offered more money by the likes of little Bournemouth they won't show any loyalty to Leeds United whether they're homegrown or not
Only if they are good enough. If we want promotion then we have to be ruthless imo. If he is the best at the club and we can’t get any better in for whatever reason then definitely he should be playing. But not simply because he is one our youngsters.
That’s a nice, romantic and idealistic view but the reality is if our young players shine, we don’t go up, the premier league clubs come in triple their wages and they leave. They don’t stay because Leeds want to build a team around them sadly.
