Think both Liam , and Robbie Koran came as free agents about the same time in late summer 2010 when Nigel Pearson was manager . Just shows what quality can be out there and as free agents .

HIs agent Daniel Kaniewski gave an interview to 'Sportowe Fakty'.

Here is the portuguese version published in portuguese newspaper Record:

    Google translated :) :)
HIs agent Daniel Kaniewski gave an interview to 'Sportowe Fakty'.

    Record:

Sporting have attempted, at the close of the transfer market, the hiring of Kamil Grosicki, in a move that has indirectly ended a change from the Polish extreme to Bursaspor , which seemed practically sealed. The revelation was made by Daniel Kaniewski, the manager of the 30-year-old Hull City player, who told the Sportowe Fakty newspaper what happened on Friday, the day the market closes.

It all started early in the morning when Grosicki arrived on Turkish soil to seal the move to Bursaspor. He did medical examinations, made all the details and went to the hotel, where he waited for news from the club in the company of his businessmen Michal Siara and Daniel Kaniewski.

"The Turks took a long time to present the documents, and some of the players who have played there have advised Kamil to read the contracts very well, we had two lawyers to help us, so the formal issues were delayed." At that moment, writes Sportowe Fakty, a call came from another of the agents of the extreme, Thomas Kroth, to account for the appearance of a third team in the equation, Sporting.

"We started to try to figure out what to do, first because Sporting had better conditions, rather than being a much better club than Bursaspor, we called the sports director of Hull and he told us to wait. the leaders of the Turks, who were dealing with the negotiation, entered our room, one of them very impatient and began to shout and say 'sign, sign' for Kamil Kroth, knowing by the Hull director what was to pass, told us to get out of there and go to Istanbul, "he continued.

"We got in our suitcases and went downstairs." In the lobby of the hotel, the same two men who were quite irritated in the room, asked quietly to relax and to speak again, it was already clear that we would not sign the contract. We asked for a taxi and we went to the airport, "added the agent, who considers absurd the claim of Bursaspor, who in his statement spoke of Grosicki's demand to receive two years of salary advanced.

"Sporting presented two types of business, loan or purchase, and Hull was always asking for more." We traded in aeorporto, always in permanent contact with Kroth. "Hull arranged a thousand and one situations and asked for more money for Kamil and ended up not get it, "lamented the agent of the extreme, who now, missed the transfer in this season, will have to resurface in Hull City.

I always take news reports with a pinch of salt having seen how journalists can spin stuff in situations where I’ve known the true story. However, this has Enobs signature signature move so it has to be true. Agree a deal and then change the price at the last minute, repeat until the other party walks away or you run out of time.

If we didn’t desperately need Kamil in the pitch at his best, I’d be tempted to encourage him to be permanently ill or two weeks away from match fitness, just to spite the owner

This is at least better than the pure speculation/rumour given previously.

    Pinch of salt needed though.

Ok so City wanted more cash, my first question - had Sporting offered the same/more?

Second question - if other players are saying to double check the contract, why? What was the issue?

Thirdly - who approached Sporting? A media clip went out ref the medical, it was common knowledge he was likely to go, why not come in before?

I think the agent and Grosicki got cold feet and decided against it myself, and fair enough if the deal wasn't right

    Bottom line .....
    KG wants away
his agent wants a deal done
Allams want him gone and want the money
clubs were clearly interested in taking him
they had many weeks to get it sorted (yet again)

If the Allams were reasonable in their demands, he would have been gone. He's the clubs player, he wants out and the club want him out. So basically Ehab has somehow managed to **** it up yet again.

Or by the sounds of it as well, his multiple agents tried at the last minute to get a better deal and it fell flat. The Allams are ****s in this as per but KG and his agents are just as bad. Half of me thinks we should just forget about him and have him training with the youth untill Jan as I doubt we will see him play with any interested or desire
