QPR continue talks in attempt to land Wells By West London Sport 17/08/2018 please log in to view this image © Antony Devlin/PA Wire Nahki Wells is wanted by QPR QPR remain in talks with Burnley over a possible loan deal for Nahki Wells. West London Sport recently revealed that Rangers want Wells, 28, and had opened talks over a possible deal to sign Tomer Hemed on loan from Brighton. Burnley are willing to loan out striker Wells and Rangers are among a number of clubs interested. The Bermudian has plenty Championship experience, having had a three-year spell at Huddersfield before joining Burnley in 2017. He has been unable to establish himself as a first-team player in the Premier League and QPR want to take him to Loftus Road on a season-long deal. Rangers want to bring in two centre-forwards and are also keen on a season-long loan for 31-year-old Israeli striker Hemed.
That’s a real vote of no confidence in our current players who are thought, by scientists, to technically be strikers.
No idea, maybe he's always had a burning desire to spend a season of abject misery in Shepherds Bush? We can only hope
He played well on Tuesday, adequate cover for our first team midfielders... Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
Bringing in two more strikers would be good business. Might also give the current strikers a little kick up the backside and encourage them to perform at a better level
I'm not saying he's the worst midfielder at QPR. Far from it. But I don't think he's good either. I would definitely have manning as the backup. Cousins often goes completely missing for large periods in games. And we he suddenly bursts into the game it looks exciting for a moment until he runs straight into a opposing player or misses a pass.
Bakary Sako is available...…..maybe he might fancy joining? Maybe chelski might have one or two they to loan out. the benefits of sending them to us is that their scouts wouldn't have too far to travel to watch them.....
I’d laugh if some prat at the club overlooked the inclusion of the clause that prevents him playing against us. It’s the QPR way after all. (Note: I’d actually like to see a rule that prevents clubs loaning players to clubs in the same division as them. I would also - if it doesn’t already exist - have a rule that limits the number of players registered to play for the first team as well.)
See we have Bassong on trial with us at the moment. Also a couple of young lads, one a winger formerly with spurs named Oduwa. The other lad, Agyemang, has been playing non league.
I'm sure we have been after Bassong before he went to Norwich. Would prefer to see James Collins myself....
