Dave Mac says deal close for Hemed and we are still trying for Wells but others interested. I've no idea what this Hemed guy is like? He'll be stepping into a pressure situation.
Me either, so just looked him up. Roughly 1 in 3 for Brighton over 90 odd games. Not bad considering the market we are in.
Just read up on Bassong too. He left Norwich in May 2017 and hasn't signed for anyone since. Always thought he was half decent, but must be clubless for a reason?
I'd take 1 in 3 now, tbf Matt Smith might not be too far off that ratio. Best of luck to the guy if we get him, if he hits the ground running it could be just the lift we need.
Struggling to understand what the hold up is. We need to force deals through quickly and stop messing about. It’s obvious who our targets are and the longer it’s taking, the more likely they are to go elsewhere. Get the deals done or move on to someone else who is hopefully more likely to join us. Just hurry up and get things sorted!
