Spot on Rick ,sorry RBF but I don't agree with your view, I'm willing to give him much more time to turn things around ,and as Rick says, Webber has done a very good job of rebuilding the squad.
Thanks Rick - the voice of reason - not 'knee-jerk' reactions!!! IMO, we could just as easily have won all 3 games with a little bit of a 'rub of the green' and that seems to be DF's stance as well. Tettey, Klose and Pinto I believe are the only players from 2 seasons ago and if you take a bit of time, to listen to this - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...pionship-defeat-at-sheffield-united-1-5657933, MB feels that it's a game we could easily have won.
Knee Jerk? He was in charge last season you know? I remember a lot of people who said "we have to give him time" saying "I will judge him after Christmas". That came and went. Now hearing it again this year. Let's judge him by Christmas, again" Next year in league 1 "lets see where we are at Christmas before we judge him". "Oh dear, League 1 relegation fight, lets give him some time, he just needs more time" He is poor at "Head Coaching" our club, because he has never "Head Coached a club".
It´s only my opinion, but just the fact that he appointed Farke in the first place, is enough to seriously doubt his judgement, particularly as the decision was made on the basis of one lucky pot with David Wagner. I certainly can´t see that he is doing a great job in rebuilding the team, and as far as the Club goes, I´m not close enough, or involved enough with it, to to be able to make an opinion one way or the other. I must admit, I don´t like the idea of a ´non-footballing ´person having so much ´hands on´ say, in who leaves, and who joins the Club - that ought to be left to the manager( or in this case, the head coach) alone. Safe to say, I wouldn´t miss either of them.
To watch this sh*t!? Are they taking the piss?! No then, I won't be going. Stevenage was free, and that was bloody awful. How can they charge above a tenner to watch that.
OK FML, I’m not going to debate with you any more on the topic, but I’m prepared to offer you a similar deal that I’ve offered DD (whether Rhodes or Marriott scores more league goals in a season) and if we don’t finish in the top 10 this season, I’m prepared to buy you a couple of pints of beer. DEAL???? Edit - I'd be FAR more worried if I was a Derby County supporter, as apart from a narrow win over Reading, they're struggling and have spent quite heavily.
Haha. I was joking. I will buy a ticket if I can finish work in time and get a ticket. I will take that bet though. I really don't think DF can keep us in the league this season. Top 10 is way above our reach in my opinion. He just hasn't got a clue.
I'm sure there is. Everyone is fed up with the football. Takes a lot to motivate yourself to pay the money and spend the time to sit through it.
Well, I wish I was close enough to go because I'd have a season ticket without a moment's hesitation.
Who are you calling a woman? I might have ‘dragged this thread up’ but it has certainly got people debating the subject. And how dare you tell me to bugger off just because as per usual you can’t see the wood for the trees as per Hughton, Adams, Neil and bloody Delia ! Have one back !
Without wanting to get involved in a rutting competition, I'll give you Adams but Hughton and Neil? Not doing too badly, are they. I will never understand people who want Managers out before they are given a chance. Seems crazy to me. He may not work out, but give the guy a chance, and as for 'bloody' Delia, without whom the club wouldn't exist, that's a if ever one was deserved.
I don't see us improving on last year's position and we will sell anyone that does well to balance the books again. I'll give Farke until Christmas 2020 ,not sure I want him here forever. Also ironic that given the sides that buy titles with foreign sugar daddy billions, it's our team that struggles to field enough British players in the squad because we have bought tons of mediocre foreigners. ****ing madness.
