I can't believe KIO decides to stop posting then changes his mind ( a woman's perogative) and drags up this totally pointless thread. DF will be here forever, live with it or bugger off somewhere else
Gutted ,but not worried. Yes results matter, but neither loss was down to DF. I like the way we're playing and the results will come. Two home games to turn things around.
Really dreading the game against Leeds. They have a world class manager who should totally destroy DF. I can see him losing to Alex Neil, then him beating Bielsa.
Is this guy trying to wind us up? So what!? Was similar last season. We are suppose to be happy with how impotent we are? 1 point. We even played poor in the Cup against Stevenage!
Not just that, you seem to think we have a divine right to beat what you describe as poor teams such as Brum and WBA and Sheffield United. Seeing Brum's result today, we did very well to come away with a point .
No, not at all. I expect us to beat teams we have had massive privilege above for the past god knows how many years. To be beaten consistently by teams who play league 1 and scrape Championship survival every season, when we have had seasons of Premiership money. That annoys me.
So you deny it then make the same observation again. We have NO divine right to beat ANYBODY In our halcyon days as a Prem team we lost at home to non-league Luton.
I dunno about all your "Devine right usual b*llocks" But a side who has more money and status over a long period of time. When you lose all your games to teams who have had none of those benefits. It's annoying.
Fair comment FML and because those 'in power' at the club have MISMANAGED the riches from PL days, not only do they have to raise a bond to fund the Colney upgrade, they also have to 'sell the family silver' (JM, Murphy twins etc) to balance the books. Having said that, I'd FAR rather support a club such as ours than Villa, who escaped going into administration, by finding themselves a 'sugar daddy!!!!' Are you going to the Preston game????
That´s rather a bold statement Dave I for one, certainly hope he isn´t, and the same goes for Webber imo - neither of them have impressed in any way so far, today just continued the pattern.
Sunderland thought exactly he same and look where they are now, this league is renowned for being immensly tough. Isn’t there something like 20 of the 24 teams that have been in the PL in “recent times”. I understand frustration after the first season we came down but since then the expectations have to drop, we are realistically still under going a massive rebuilding project, although the end of that I would say is in sight. Farke appears to have improved the performances, results will come!....I hope!
What exactly do you think Webber has got wrong out of interest RBF? I can understand the frustration with results and therefore criticism of Farke, but personally I think Webber has done a great job of rebuilding the club/team
I agree that SW has done a good job of rebuilding the squad after past mistakes. The anti DF wisdom being spouted on here is a deja vu from that espoused about Chris Hughton (just look at the terrible job he's done at Brighton) and Alex Neil (ditto for Preston). When do people learn that it isn't just about changing the manager (or HC)? If we were grinding out dull 1-0 wins would that be enough? Not for me. I want to see a City team moving the ball well and scoring goals. I'll judge how much we've improved in December, not after three matches when we've played well but not got the results we deserve. That will balance out over the season, so I'll wait and see where we are by then.
