Scoreline: Derby County v Leeds Utd

Looking forward to this one. Be interesting to see our approach to away game and if there's any changes. Will also be looking to see if not today but in future Bielsa proactively changes the team, too often I think managers wait for a player to have a bad game before they're prepared to change the team. Looking at last weekend we can easily let goals in but want to see then how we respond to going behind and see if it's like we did in pre-season games (but against better opposition).

the other day Bielsa gave his opinion on which of the young players had impressed him.one name was Shakleton ? has any one seen him play and if so how far away is he from making the bench given our lack of centre mids due to injuries and sales.

got to agree with you regards not changing the team and i think we need a different approach to away games .
 
I'le tell you what it's gonna be a cracking game,could be nothing else the way Bielsa has got everyone fired up and that's players fans & all.Can't wait.Just wish i was their <wah>
 
Derby i new have always been our bogey side,but just got some stats fromm the BBC,not pretty,but Bielsa won't give a F***.
  • Derby have won nine of their last 12 home matches against Leeds in all competitions (D2 L1).
  • Since returning to the Championship in 2010, Leeds have lost more Championship matches against Derby than any other side (10).
  • But confident we won't lose this one,will be very interesting to see away tactics against a descent side,confident Bielsa will have them sussed,we shall see.

Thats a positive change pontus is the better in that position.Bielsa said hes getting back to fitness so maybe not this week.
 
My days of travelling up and down the country, I've found Derby fans to be the thickest, most ignorant bunch off tossers of all. Their next words after momma, dadda, must be Huh, Dirty Leeds hehehehe.They think Leeds fans give them a second thought, they are no where near the radar. Come on Leeds, beat the ****.

I watched Shackleton in the u23s & he was a combative centre mid. In pre season, Bielsa converted him to a RWB. Still learning, obviously, but acquitted himself well. If Bielsa is rating him higher than fellow u23s Edmondson & Dalby, then he must be promising! :)

Seems Bielsa is a good motivator and is giving praise to good effect.he is making the guys feel they can achieve more .

i think leeds will beat derby 1-3 today as derby have not got vydra anymore all leeds have to do is attack them and keep on the front foot all the game and also important keep a tight defence and we will beat derby !
