Bullards well known in the game for his antics off the field and attitude so it won't make any difference to our future signings. If anything we are an attractive proposition to players thanks to the Pearsons, we have Koren, an international Captain, Chester, a future England player in my opinion, Matty Fryatt, who oozes class. Young players with talent will want to play for us. People want to be negative sometimes but we are going in the right direction, Bullard is a dodgy proposition on and off the pitch and is aging in any case. UTT!

City fans are surprisingly split on this, but I'm in total agreement with this. Bullard has done far more off the pitch than on it in his so far disastrous stint with the Tigers. He goes against all that we're trying to do under NP - young, enthusiastic players who aren't on ridiculous sums of money.

He played yesterday and scored. Guaranteed next game or at the latest, the one after that, if he's fit that long, he'll be back to standing around, avoiding tackles and generally doing fook all.

I really hope we don't attract any more players like him tbh. He COULD Have been the best player in the league we're in, but, he's too lazy and interested in getting pissed than actually being any good. Please dont give me any crap about career threatening injuries either. Every player runs that risk, and some, like Sir Ashbee, suffered too but always came back stronger. This mercenary drunk just came back.

The Fulham fans were right about him Im sorry to say.

The Tigers are looking better than they've had in years. If we by some miracle got promoted this season (I hope we dont btw), we'd at least have a young eager squad.

If Jimmy ever plays for us again, I'll be amazed.

I hope he plays brilliantly for the tractors and scores 20 goals, we might even get money for him.

The Tractor boys are waxing lyrical about him only costing £20k a week. Since the £321k is guaranteed, I hope for their sake he doesn't end up costing £160k a game (although even that would represent a value 4 times that which we got).

The poor deluded carrot crunchers are positively raving about the signing of Jimmy. Comments like 'he was smiling as he came off and was smiling as he got on the coach' etc. I think I would be smiling if I was earning that money, shagging as many women as him and modelled my social habits on Tony Montana from Scarface.

rth can ayone come out with a statement like that of deluded 24
he is not the best player in this league,to qualify for that ,he would have had to have played evry game of the season,be the top goalscoring midfielder in the league,100% fit,out train anyone in the squad,he is none of these.
as for him being the best player city have have signed.
i am extreemly sorry but his ball control and dribbling skills could not hold a candle to waggies,or ian butlers ,as for a football brain, there is no comparison whatsoever between him and raich carter and as a midfielder well please dont even put him in the same class as chris simpkins or vego jenson.
so pleas east hull 24 do not make ridiculous statements on your knowledge of hull city footballers,or should i say lack of knowledge.
bullard is where he belongs .out of the kc were his bad influence cannot damage our growing youthfull side.

Somebody's just read the history section on the OWS.

FFS put things in context, instead of comparing him to players who are either dead or been retired for 30 years, how about we compare him to who we have now? He's clearly our best midfielder, offers much more than the useless Harper. Evans and Belaid aren't proven yet, and this is obviously another mistake made by AP, albeit another one he or his loyal followers won't admit to.

I've got to say I think AP has made some massive errors in his second spell at City:

    Sacking Brown in March
    Appointing Dowie
    Alienating Bullard throughout the summer
Wanting us to go into Administration (imagine that - we'd have 10 points less this season). Bartlett was insistent we didn't go into administration or a CVA, for that we have to be thankful to him.
The recent dealings on Bullard have left a lot to be desired too.

Anyway onwards and upwards as we should be on a safe financial footing - AP however seems to of lost a lot of his people skills since leaving.

If we don't manage to shift Jimmy at the end of this season, then next season he will account for over 20% of our total wage bill and we have over 100 staff.

    That's bonkers.

He may be technically one of the best players in the league, but when it comes to what a player brings to a team, he doesn't make the top 100.

He doesn't look after himself, he doesn't care about what effect his actions have on himself or other players, he's just on one big jolly and that's not much use to us.

Exactly, IMO he's lucky to still have a job, it's been mistake after mistake.

I don't think he's lost people skills I think he just needs to reign in his own ego for the sake of the club, obviously it kills him that it was Duffen and not him that took us to the Premiership and it's as if he's trying to destroy all memory of our most successful period. First he sacks Brown for no good reason, and then he tries to alienate Bullard, some of his comments over the summer on that issue were just ridiculous. Obviously some fans won't hear a bad word against AP for some reason, but if he'd have handled the situation better in the summer we'd have had one of the best players in the Championship tearing it up in midfield for this season and could have made a decent promotion push. I can't imagine it's easy to perform well in any job when your employers have made no secret they want to get rid of you and treat you like dogshit in the media.
