If Jimmy ever plays for us again, I'll be amazed.

I hope he plays brilliantly for the tractors and scores 20 goals, we might even get money for him.

Failing that, leave him to rot, he will end his playing days in the reserves for me.

I couldn't care less about the 'not playing Bullard when he is fit' argument.

And, I don't blame him for his inflated contract, or even not being fit and how many grams he gets through during the week -I would snap anyones hand off which offered me the same, its not looking interested which bothers me.

He is a rascal.

I agree he has not been value for money but he is class and was excellent to watch. Everyone must at least admit there was an anticipation in the stadium every time he was on the pitch. I personally thought his work rate was exceptional when playing, he just was not on the pitch often enough.

I still have a problem with him going to Ipswich, they are going to be a big team next season in this league, I hope we are not here then but that is a big hope.

Exactly, IMO he's lucky to still have a job, it's been mistake after mistake.

I don't think he's lost people skills I think he just needs to reign in his own ego for the sake of the club, obviously it kills him that it was Duffen and not him that took us to the Premiership and it's as if he's trying to destroy all memory of our most successful period. First he sacks Brown for no good reason, and then he tries to alienate Bullard, some of his comments over the summer on that issue were just ridiculous. Obviously some fans won't hear a bad word against AP for some reason, but if he'd have handled the situation better in the summer we'd have had one of the best players in the Championship tearing it up in midfield for this season and could have made a decent promotion push. I can't imagine it's easy to perform well in any job when your employers have made no secret they want to get rid of you and treat you like dog**** in the media.

You put AP with the word ego and then follow up in your statement the names Duffen and Brown. Spiffing. Also when has it been quoted(apart from you many times) that it kills him that Duffen and not him took the tigers to the prem.

It's obviously my opinion. It's the only way I could possibly explain the ludicrous arguments taken by him during his second spell.

Just in the name of accuracy, the board sacked Brownie and AP wasn't on the board.

There's no need to respond, I'm certain you'll hold him entirely responsible, regardless of any facts that may get in the way.

AP's appointment of Dowie has been his only significant mistake.

What the **** are you talking about?? When did Adam Pearson ever say he wanted to put us into administration or file for a CVA? Get your facts right!!

In the interview after relegation was confirmed he said it might be the best option. I'm only posting that as I remember it happening. I wouldn't want anyone other than AP running the club at the minute.

OK you opinion noted. Re the Duffen jealousy thing. I believe that had Pearson not been of sound mind and spent other peoples money he would of stayed at City. However (and this is one of his mistakes) he found the scatter-cash brothers and the rest is history. Sorry pal but I do not buy your jealousy theory.

I am not a fan of Adam Pearson and do not understand the cult of Adam. There is one thing I do understand though.
The owners of the club hold him in high regard and they are the ones who sign the wage cheques. I may not like it, but I do have to lump it.
So I will.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion no matter how misguided or stupid that view may be.

Totally agree. We could have the best player in the league for 20k a week.
This is the first time jimmy gets near fitness and we drop him and then off load. Seems crazy.
However, The team and club are progressing so I'll not complain.

Like it or not Bullard has gone.....end of. I personally hope we can get rid of him at the end of the season permanently but there aren't a lot of mugs around like Duffen who will pay over the odds for the transfer, line the pockets of an agent and give the player an outrageous amount of money each week, for the players twilight years of his career.
What Pearson has done is try and make the most of a bad deal that he inherited. It doesn't sit well with anyone that we are left subsidising another clubs wage structure but thats the way it is.
Offloading like we have has allowed other players to come in and strengthen us as a unit. Which Im sure all agree was needed but we didnt have the money until we frees it up from elsewhere eg Bullard and Kamil carzy.
These players we have brought in are young and hungry, seriously what would you rather have??? You can't have your cake and eat it!!!

Both Pearsons are doing ok for now, things don't happen overnight and the squad we have now already looks stronger and keener then the one we were promoted with. May be not this year but next season is looking as though we will be there or there abouts from the start and not from the mid point where we are now.
