I understand that (one of) Ehab's house(s) is up for sale. A city player currently lives in that house. Probably means nothing but I thought I'd put it out there.
I doubt it. But there were a bunch of houses in Anlaby and Swanland. Not sure whether they were owned by the club or the owners?
This house used to be the vice-chairman's residence so pretty sure it'll still be owned by him.
Edit to add: I'll take more interest when his current residence is put up for sale. Hopefully that'll mean he's leaving dodge.
Rent will be determined by the number of occupants.

Looking like we could be relying quite heavily on loans again this year then with only a week til the proper transfer deadline then, I don't mind this as an approach to the Champo, 2 or 3 very good loan players can make a huge difference, but if we're going to be picking up whatever we can rather than players we really want we could have another situation like last season. In spite of the semi respectable approach to transfers we saw early on, time is now running tight, I reckon we've a 1st 11 to keep us up at the moment, no probs, but the lack of depth is horrifying once more
A first 11 to keep us up. I very much doubt that. Where’s he goals coming from? And a immature leaky back line. Oh and no experienced head to run the midfield. Lots not start on the goalkeeper!

I dont understand why we arnt putting in improved bids for the players we want. The opening bid is nearly always rejected, its just to test the water really and its usually the 2nd or 3rd bid thats accepted. We had bids in for Norwood and a few other players.... since then, nothing..
Clubs rarely provide a running commentary on their transfer dealings.
In short (bar the % ITK crew), we have no idea.

Sometime wonder if Ehab just puts a token bid in for Nigel's major targets, knowing that we haven't a hope of hell of getting them,so he can go back to Adkins and say " sorry nigel we tried but they not playing ball,get yourself a couple of free transfers instead".
I don't get the obsession with the way we played last year at times.
I would much rather score 70 and concede 70 than score 40 and concede 40.
We seem to have improved at the back and weakened up top, so really we are going to be in a very similar position to last year.
As with a lot of teams our season is going to be defined by the end of the transfer window. Anyone getting a feeling of Deja vu.

But why does it have to be either/or? Surely scoring 70 and conceding 40 should be the aim?
Nigel said those bids had been on the table a while before they were rejected.
Of course it should. Based on our current owners, us unwilling to spend in the transfer market or retain players in decent wages it's clear they don't care about a promotion push or even a top half push. We have to be realistic and accept this and hope we are comfortably safe in mid table.
