You mean the ITK crew who know that we were just 'driving up the price' for conor townsend and didn't actually want to sign him? As oppose to all the previous evidence which suggests that a) we don't offer enough for players (in fee or wage) and b) our owners are notoriously ****s at negotiation e.g. changing the deal at the 11th hour.
They rejected our bid immediately, describing it as 'nowhere near our valuation'. Which turned out to be fairly accurate, as he went for three times the amount we bid.
Driving up the price for CT was clearly an excelllent idea and knowledge of this being the real reason of our interest was surmised by anyone aware of the situation. So, no. Not that ITK crew at all.
I've seen this from a few different posters on different bids, how does anyone know what was offered? I know there will be rumours/ what people think was offered, but how can anyone state that they know what was offered
The Express & Star have a good record and didn’t even bother with ‘fee believe to be around’... ‘The 25-year-old left-back became the Baggies’ fifth summer signing on Saturday when he joined from Scunthorpe in a £750,000 deal‘.
If anybody is at the Ferriby game, be a dear and just ask Nige why we're going into the Villa game without an in-form striker? And could he possibly buy one, even if it's the top scorer from the Greenland Premier Division?
Talking of strikers Hernandez has apparently failed a medical at CSK. Whoops bang goes his 100k a week
