There surely must be a reason that we ain't made a move, after all, we wanted him, and said we'd pay £4million tops, now he's available for less?

With Anton looking gone, surely this would be a very shrewd move indeed.
 
I find it a staggering position not be interested in a player than excelled in his time here. I'd have happily paid 6m for him last year but for 3m it is peanuts.

That back 4 - Hutton, Brown, O Shea and Bardo looks about as good as I have ever seen in the past 30 years. Anton out, Hutton in? Why not?

Maybe we should invest in a chastity belt and calipers for Ms Bruce, to help her keep her ****ing legs closed and we can hang onto our better players. Lol

That's so true it scares me. Why on earth has Harry not accepted more from us in the past?

And surely, according to popular perception, he probably sees Villa as more of a threat to his team anyway? So it would make sense to have him come here instead?

..Maybe it's just a case of bad timing on our part. Maybe Harry has, this summer, realised he needs to let the lad go to free up wages, and that he's not worth the £6-8m he was looking for before. And then we haven't gone back in this summer. Bad timing or something more?
