Salah doesn't mind not being involved for long periods. He'll be happy to let them think they're roughing him out the game as he'd be biding his time anyway. I mean that's salah all over. Absent for 80 minute with 10 minutes of pure genius. Egypt will have to be well organised and if they give them selves a chance of knicking a draw then they'll be giving themselves chance of knicking the game with Salah about.

An early Uruguay will make me feel better as they'll romp it in that scenario. If Uruguay goes ahead it's already over and I'll be well happy going into the next games.

Obviously I've backed Uruguay so think they'll win, just a niggling doubt for some reason

You’ll have gathered I was confident anyway, but now there’s no question.

Uruguay at a canter. They might bring him on but you know, I know, we all know, if Salah is fit, he plays.

A small nation with an absolute world class player in form, if he’s even 80% he starts.

I have a weird feeling Portugal might do Spain. Probably just my dislike for spain coming through.

I wonder where the Sporting players heads will be at as well.

Big, big players, Patricio, Carvalho, Martins. What’s their frame of mind with what’s happening there?

No team with Ronaldo can ever be written of of course.

Makes sense doesn’t it. He can tear them apart, take a loss, win those 2 and they are through.

They are very winnable, this one isn’t, he will only come on if they are level at the hour for me.

Absolutely. A very sensible decision from the Egyptians

Anyone familiar with Sharm El Sheikh airport will know that they can't usually organise the proverbial in a brewery

If they're going to do that countdown to the kickoff every game this is the automatically the worst World Cup ever. Absolute Americanized bollocks. I expected better from the ruskis!

Awful mate, surely they could sell the tickets to some ****er if they can’t fill the stadium with the fans of the two teams.

Give them to locals who can’t afford them.

Said on commentary that it's £300 For a family of four seems a lot for me being a pensioner maybe that's why there's lots of empty seats.

Aye, and of course folk in Russia bar the top few % have far less money than us.

That’s ridiculous, there should be a percentage of tickets every game reduced to an affordable level for locals, simple as that. There’s got to be 15k empty seats in there for **** sake, what a shame to see.

Not an unattractive fixture either what’s Morocco v Iran gonna be like?
