Damn you can't delete your account. I think I will then set up a new account with a different email address on another computer and let my other one deactivate and then once it is deactivated I will be able to stop using my new account on the other computer and start using it on my normal computer again. Hopefully this will work.
 
Just signed up my new driver, the only attribute I am bothered about are, concentration, talent, and technical insight. His technical insight is crap at 33, but his concentration is 137 and his talent is 222, hopefully his techincal insight will improve as the season goes on.

I am in Rookie group 219 now as well.

Mifune you can always train your driver to improve his insight anyway.

Sounds like a good driver. When I signed my driver all I looked at is concentration, experience and to a lesser extent talent. Also I wanted a low aggressiveness. It would have been nice to get high technical insight and high stamina too, but we can’t have everything.

The other thing I looked at when picking a driver is their average points to race score.

My driver is currently

Overall 82
Concentration – 128
Talent – 156
Aggressiveness – 0
Experience – 167
Tech Insight – 45
Stamina – 2
Charisma – 117
Motivation – 0
Reputation – 0

Weight is 99
Age – 32
Av/points per race – 1.92

I’m not sure about drivers yet, but his av/points per race made him my number 1 choice. I would prefer his tech insight and stamina to be higher, but of course we have to make some compromises.

His salary is currently approx $700K per race, which looking at the other drivers seems quite cheap. There are some drivers in my group getting paid silly money.

What are the full stats of your drivers guys? Drivers stats is an area which I’m not sure about yet.

So far at the race I’m on pole, but I know I won’t stay there, as some of the quick guys from last year haven’t qualified yet. I’m aiming for some points in the first race, but I’m not sure how likely that is yet.

My Qual 1 time was 1:36.6 don't forget that it's raining in Q1, but not in Q2.
 
My Q1 setup was:

Front W: 369
Rear W: 370
Engine: 594
Brakes: 815
Gear: 475
Susp: 737

Quali 1 time was 1:36.9, for Q2 I took 40 out of my wings and did a 1:28 on soft tyres. Currently P2 on the grid.

I am debating whether to take even more wing out though.
 
dissapointing qualy, I was doing times faster than pole in practise but my Q1 and Q2 times were slower and ended up 11th
 
I STarted 2nd, currently 23rd, losing places every single lap. I think I've made a huge mistake on tryes, I've gone too hard.
 
Not as bad as thought. Managed to finish 6th at the end, still too much trye left and too fuel left in. Driver made 2 mistakes too.

Still points at the first race is a good start for me.
 
Bad race, nearly last and still getting outbidded on drivers, so its another random bad driver for the next race.

I came 6th which is solid enough but I think I could of done better if I had got my fuel loads correct, finished with 50lts left in the tank. I also spent too long on worn out tyes.

My sttings for the next race, I made a mistake by not replacing some parts so I don't think I'll be able to finish the race. I've gone for low feul and extra soft tryes. I think Medium tryes will be the right choice.

My driver made a mistake in Qual 1, and I was 1.5 seconds slower than I should of been, made me way off the pace on the grid :( Hoping for a fastest lap in teh race. That's all I can hope for TBH.

Using the soft tyes and I am going for a boring two stopper, but I do not seem to have much pace here, qualified 11th and my Q1 time was 18th <yikes>.
 
hmmm Qualified 14th but im confidant my strategy is good for the race, I have a suspicion that alot above me have softer tires to get that time and will have to pit more times. We will see, Im expecting more high scoring points.

You can repair your car before the race
 
I knew it! I sat midfield for most of the race and towards the end of the race I picked them off to score a 4th place and maintain 3rd in the league
