Homogenization stopped all that. Interestingly, homogenization is the process whereby the fat in milk doesn't rise to form the creamy layer and the word also means making things uniform. Stop being different and drink your skimmed milk.

Lol..I drink semi skinned now... full fat just tastes too rich for me.

Ardent real butter fan though.... can't stand that yellow dyed industrial by-product marg ...

Which reminds me I tried the supposedly perfect tomato pasta sauce recipe and it is really good.

2 tins chopped tomatoes
6 tablespoons of butter

Put in saucepan peel and chop in half one onion and place in same pan and simmer for 45 minutes then take onion out.

Goes great with my meatballs.

It's homogenisation that affects the fats. A different process.

that is only breaking the fats into smaller particles. I mean that pasteurization changes the nature of the gets themselves.

one is a mechanical process and one is in effect chemical as the heat changes the properties of the fats

Anyone here on sky mobile? Contract ends soon and they seem pretty good if you're an existing sky customer which I am.

As long as you negotiate more data at a good price. The phone deals are good but the amount of data they are offering is crazy bad.

I recently got 16gb data free phone free mins and calls £18

That was an exceptional offer but it gives you some idea. Do you use iPhone or Android?

i use giffgaff. Runs on the O2 networks (check your area to see which place has best mobile coverage) and is effectively a pay as you go contract.

10 quid a month gives you 3 gig data i think plus 500 minutes and unlimited texts. I don't really get through that and sometimes go on long holidays so then for that period i don't bother having it (its a month by month 10 quid so you're not locked in)

Month by month is good for Iphone people because the phones last, Samsung phones are usually on the way out in 2 years.

Literally just got off cancelling with O2 for Tesco

Existing contact was 4gb a month, unlimited txts unlimited calls £23 a month

Tesco 4gb a month, 5000 texts, 1000 calls. £11 a month. On O2's network.

O2 guy trying to get me to stay offered:

500mb a month 11 quid
4gb a month 15 quid
20gb a month 20 quid.

"Do any of those match Tescos deal?"

"No"
"Soooooo"
"You still want to cancel?"

Bright lad....
