The only reason Rangers appointed Gerrard was to benefit from his LFC links, getting fringe and youth players on loan etc. Could be wrong but don't loanees get a proportion of their wages paid by the lending club? Rangers are not only ****e they're skint, Lampard got a better job than Gerrard without any experience by comparison, big mistake by Gerrard going to Glasgow imho.
less than a mil I would say. virtual charity. I cannot see him prospering in that helter skelter league though. I can see him vanishing.
Agreed. I think it will all end in tears as they are a mess of a club in a terrible league. Or it will just be a complete waste of time.
Depends on the deal & player/clubs involved.Often see it when PL loan players down the divisions as they cannot afford the wages we pay youth / fringe players.
LIVERPOOL could end up paying more for Lyon star Nabil Fekir if they don’t sort the deal out quick, reports have claimed.
BREAKING NEWS Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has agreed a four-year deal with Juventus, according to Sky in Italy. It is understood the Germany international will have a medical with the Serie A champions in the next couple of days.
From the Agent that is feeding the papers to get more from the deal, the greedy parasite. Fekir is a bench player for France at the moment so won't get a lot of play time unless they have injuries. He certainly is a class player but i hope Liverpool don't get forced to pay over the odds, the money nowadays is crazily over inflated.
I'm still puzzled at why he would want to leave Liverpool other than he wants to play in a less physically demanding league.
Lampard will either be a hero or a failure in his first job, same doesn't really apply to Gerrard. Very few, if any, in England are bothered about Scottish football so he gets to try out management away from the spotlight. Give it a go where he can't mess up promotion or relegation in, say the Championship, then when he's got a bit of experience under his belt, come back and have a proper go with a Championship or lower prem side.
Are you talking about Fabinho? You certainly got a top quality replacement there. You also have Keita coming in so you should have a new look central midfield next season. Interesting times ahead for you.
Hard to argue with the last part, Italy is a lovely place to live in with nice climates. But the place to be is the PL and with Liverpool's resurgence is something he'll be turning his back on. Should have stayed a bit longer before leaving.
So the other 40 times claimed he had agreed to sign for them was a lie and this is the one to believe?
